#### We are already talking about booting up a full-node.
Of course this would put us back in the red financially, but at the same time we'd be bringing more value to the network, which would in turn give us more votes.  More importantly than that, controlling a full node would be a very useful tool for all of us, as having access to all the block information and associated database API could be very useful for our apps going forward.

Have you considered waiting till after HF24 to start up a full node as if I recall correctly, some parts of a full node are being cut out (I think it was the fat node thats being deleted from the setup) Also hf24 sees major optimizations so you might be able to get a cheaper server rather than getting stuck with an overpowered system and paying more than you need to.

Pretty much one of the reasons we haven’t started it up yet. Waiting for eclipse means that costs come way down, and if we’d have to reinstall pretty soon anyways, no reason to start now because of how close eclipse is even if we can afford it. 

@sn0n had a great idea of everyone takes a turn setting up the full node and we use that to write a  guide on how to fully get it going from scratch and I quite like that idea since it means all of us will have experience with it.
