I hope your switch is successful. ROI is best calculated frequently and with a goal of increasing it by increasing productivity.

Well, everything you do with your time is a trade-off.

We all have 24 hours each day, and we each look to maximize various qualities from spending our time.

We have to work so much to keep food on the table and a roof overhead.
But, that work can be somewhere between painful and joyous.

So, we all choose to spend the resources we have in a way that gets us the most benefit.

(and then you add short term and long term benefits...)

Money is much the same way.  The problem we have with money is that we live in an inflationary environment. So, you have to make so much return on your money or your losing money.

The other problem is that money is only a singular measurement.  Like a ruler that can only measure north and south.  There are many other qualities, that would be nice to have a measure... but we only have the singular.

Now, your thinking ain't exactly wrong, but it ain't exactly correct.  You will have to come back and revisit this decision.

It is just a question on you own perception and way you act here. ;)

I think that if we strive to obtain higher ROI levels, we would obviously be looking to protect our invested capital.
Every penny counts, isn't it?

Our ethical behavior is also part of our capital, of who we are. Consequently we can never compromise or question it.

I am happy to see writers on the steem blockchain going beyond mentioning abundance and starting to look at what is and is not abundant.

Please dont use blockchain for your game. Just use steem for payment system.

Absolutely agree with you here as the more we distribute, the better the chances of improved decentralization of the community.  I prefer to upvote as much as I can so other can build given that most have more capabilities to create content than myself!

Yep, totally agree on this one! Normally spreading abundance tends to give abundance back ;)

There’s so much more that can be done here. Sure, I delegate some of my SP to earn an income stream, but I’ve also long delegated to @schoolforsdg4 and recently delegated to  @aid.venezuela and @help.venezuela as well as two accounts that, in small ways, provide charity help in Bangladesh.

It’s quite possible to earn a decent (but not maximized) ROI here while still doing good.

But you are quite right and the ones who are continually looking for very penny are the ones who have to worry about every penny. I have been trying to reward people on the other interfaces using the babytarazkp account trailing me with my delegation. It's VP is getting rekt but it I think it is doing okay for the spread :)

That's so true... I saw many people here acting like total jerks and I never understood what they gain from it. 😖

It's about time.  Much is much more valuable than money.

I recently made this shift myself.

I cancelled all autovoting. I'm no longer considering rewards. Instead I'm just focusing on trying to add value to my interactions on this chain. This isn't to say I won't invest, but I do believe that the community will reward my intentions.
