*MY STORY BEFORE I GAVE MY LIFE TO CHRIST WAS QUIT AN ADVENTURE FOR ME.* 

I was a teenager who just got admitted into the secondary school in 2006 and the name of the school was *OSADENIS HIGH SCHOOL* and it was strictly for male (*boy's school*); I grew up in an environment for tertiary students (*girl's hostel*) with just my dad *(there was a side meant for tenants to live and other side for the students)*. I lost my mom in the year 1999. The compound was called **New York Hostel** but was popularly known as *Sodom and Gomorah* because of the things done in it. 

Girls were involved in cultism, hard drugs, lesbianism, drinking and all sorts of immorality. Whenever rain fell, the girls will bath in the rain naked not minding who was watching them. Alot of times, I was seduced by most of the girls (far older than me), some times I fell, other times I fled;

It was that bad. Being a christian in that kind of environment was a very challenging one.

An example of that was a pastor who lived in the same compound with his wife; I knew he faced a lot of challenges from the girls. Whenever he was going out, he was always being mocked because he resisted advances made on him by the girls. I was watching the experience this man of God was going through, and the wife on the other hand went through hers as well. She was into a business in the compound *(Selling of recharge cards)* and they always looked for a way to quarrel with her so they could insult her and her husband. But all these while, the pastor has been preaching to me to give my heart to Christ but I was not giving him any attention; maybe because I was scared that I'll have to go through the same things that he went through. I guess then I was ashamed to identify myself with Jesus Christ. This continued but the pastor never gave up on me, instead he kept pushing and disturbing me then; sometimes I will lie that I'm not around just to make him stop coming after me with his everyday message.

After so many ways of trying to convince me to come to church, finally I decided to grant his desire and I followed him to church **(Christ Embassy)** and from that day, my life changed and I never remained the same again. I heard words I've never heard before from the pastor. 

> How that God loves me unconditionally and that was the reason He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for me!


I was facinated by those words because i had never heard such a statement before. Following the pastor to church was the best decision I took in my whole life because that decision really shaped my life and brought me to this level where I'm at peace with everything. *I was ashamed before now to identify with Christ* but **now I'm very proud to be called a christian.**
