Welcome to day three of this special series "7 Chakras in 7 Days".

During this week, we are going to explore using specific tones to activate the body's energy centres - The Chakra system.

Today, we are activating the Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipura.

This is a source of personal power and governs self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation. The Manipura chakra also controls metabolism and digestion.

When you feel self-confident, have a strong sense of purpose, and are self-motivated, your third chakra is open and healthy. If your third chakra is out of balance, you can suffer from low self-esteem, have difficulty making decisions, and may have anger or control issues.

As well as carrying out the chant, you may wish to visualise colour during the process. The colour associated with this Chakra is yellow, bright like the sun.

If you are repeating, the toning starts at 5 mins 45 seconds.
