# Encouraging people to hold SD.


Stands to reason that it would not be a loss too steemit to introduce the same feature? The reason i ask is because i am gaining more SP that i get from powering down but at the same time i wanted to convert than into SD and hold that. Although as soon as i power down more than i am earning in SP i will then stop of course. Just for now i want SD!

Also my posts never reach larger amounts so i never earn enough SD too hold. Hence wanting a quicker way to hold SD. So i have to think of other ways. Also telling someone with no money to buy something is pretty annoying to say the least. I would if i could and i will when i can! 

Small feature saves a ton of time and i think the community would appreciate the shortcut right within their wallet. Also i feel holding SD too many is better than SP when investing their own money. It gives them more control and allows them too have control of when they can sell. Thus incentive to invest more than they usually would in SP.

(Not giving investment advice here just giving my reasons to wanting a fast an easy way within steemit to turn my STEEM into SD as i want too accumulate large amounts of it. As i am not a talented enough writer that wont happen from my posts. So i will have to stick too accumulating through other means.)
