For this week share your battle let's talk about **Venari Spellsmith** considering **Gold League** 🥇 level. It is a card that I don't use so often, because her main ability is Amplify and the other elements have better cards with this same ability, such as: River Nymph, Queen Mycelia, Dax Paragon and Weirding Warrior.

As mentioned before, I don't usually use this card because I rather pick other similar cards with the same mana cost than Venari Spellsmith, because they will usually perform better.

However, I think **Dispel** is an underrated ability that many people don't really understand how it works. So, I'm going to give two examples: 1st: let's say that you are facing Venari Wavesmith that gives +2 Armor (Protect ability) to all friendly monsters, if Spellsmith hits any monster she will deal the 2 damage **and** it will also remove the +2 armor! 2nd: your opponent picked Supply Runner with Swiftness, when she hits any monster it will remove the +1 Speed! **In short: it clears all positive status effects on that enemy.**

**Strengths**: decent damage and good abilities

**Weakness**: low speed and HP ❤️.

**Best Positions**: 4th to 6th position. If you have ranged monsters put her in front of them, otherwise she will be ok in the 5th-6th position.

**Best Rule Sets**: Armored Up, Broken Arrows (knowing that the opponent will probably use magic, you can combine Magic Reflect or Thorns + Amplify), Explosive Weaponry (same logic as Broken Arrows), Little League, Keep your Distance and Rise of The Commons.

In this battle I had to choose between **Earth 🌿, Life ✨ and Dragon 🐲 splinter**. I decided to pick **Earth** with Obsidian.

- **Failed Summoner (1st position)**: this is one of the best cards for battles with mana cap between 12 to 22. Since the rule set didn't allow melee monsters, it was very likely that my opponent would go with some magic damage, therefore his Magic Reflect ability would be very useful!

- **Epona (2nd Position)**: another strong card, her **strengthen** ability would improve the failed summoner when healed by one if he was level 7. However, at level 8 she is less relevant, but still great!

- **Halfling Alchemist**: people usually put him in the 6th position, but since he wouldn't be very useful being the last man standing, I decided to put him in the 3rd position to damage all the monsters with **Redemption.**

- **Rainha Mycelia**: I hesitated a little before picking her since the rule set was "Unprotected", therefore the "Protect" ability wouldn't work. At the same time I needed her for Triage ability in case my opponent also use Magic Reflect!

- **Venari Spellsmith**: to be honest, I just picked her for this challenge 🤣🙈, but she ended up being useful with her 3 magic damage.

- **Khmer Princess**: another awesome card, for two mana cost she will deal 2 damage + **Tank Heal**!

>- **Invocador Falhado (1ª posição)**: esta é uma das melhores cartas para batalhas com mana cap entre 12 a 22. Como a regra não permitia monstros corpo a corpo, era muito provável que meu oponente ficasse com algum dano mágico, portanto sua habilidade Magic Reflect seria muito útil!
>
>- **Epona (2ª Posição)**: outra carta forte, sua habilidade **fortalecer** melhoraria o invocador que falhou quando curado por um se ele estivesse no nível 7. No entanto, no nível 8 ela é menos relevante, mas ainda é ótima !
>
>- **Halfling Alquimista**: as pessoas costumam colocá-lo na 6ª posição, mas como ele não seria muito útil sendo o último homem em pé, decidi colocá-lo na 3ª posição para causar dano a todos os monstros com **Redenção .**
>
>- **Rainha Mycelia**: Hesitei um pouco antes de escolhê-la já que o conjunto de regras era "Desprotegido", portanto a habilidade "Proteger" não funcionaria. Ao mesmo tempo eu precisava dela para a habilidade Triage caso meu oponente também usasse Magic Reflect!
>
>- **Venari Spellsmith**: pra ser sincero, acabei de escolher ela para esse desafio 🤣🙈, mas ela acabou sendo útil com seus 3 de dano mágico.
>
>- **Khmer Princess**: outra carta incrível, por dois custos de mana ela causará 2 de dano + **Tank Heal**!

**Highlights/Destaques**

- As expected my opponent picked two monsters with magic attack. However, he had a similar thought picking Pelacor Conjurer+Dax Paragon (Amplify).

- Gladly, I predicted correctly and **Queen Mycelia triage was essential** to keep her alive.  

- Halfling Alchemist was a great counter against Lorna Shine divine shield with redemption, another pretty good decision! 🔥
