I still wonder if a 21st century being would still restrict a girl child from engaging in sports considering the immense benefit ones has if they play sports.
It is quite sad that some folks still view sport as an activity for promiscuous people. In time past, the adoption of the female gender into sporting activity was highly not recommended considering the fact the some school of thought had it that the primary responsibility of a woman was to be a home tender or keeper and that limited the girl child from exploring her and also maximizing her potentials.
For me this was still part of gender discrimination because anything that seeks to exalt one section above the other is discrimination. I wouldn't totally blame them anyways it is just because they were not properly informed then on the benefits of the female in sports.
We all know that regular physical exercise is good for a girl child in developing a dazzling body, mind, and spirit. But you can also get your daily dose of endorphins from a jog around the block and aside from getting fit and having fun, The Women's Sports Foundation has discovered that sports offer some extra benefits for the girl child.
> Endorphins are chemicals produced naturally by the nervous system to cope with pain or stress. They are often called “feel-good” chemicals because they can act as a pain reliever and happiness booster. It is also the chemical that is responsible for sexual pleasure.
Few Benefits a Girl Child derive from engaging in Sports

1. Exercise improves learning, memory, and concentration, which can give active girl child an advantage when it comes to the classroom activities and that makes them better off in school.
2. Teamwork and goal-setting skills. This set of people makes the best union maritally because working together for the collective success of the team has inculcated in them the ability of setting goals and creating cognitive strategies to achieve those goals.
3. A girl child who play sports is less likely to smoke and have a reduced chance of getting breast cancer and osteoporosis later in life.

Just this few is enough to convince one of the underlying benefits of a girl child participating in sports.

Some months back, due to the global pandemic that rampaged the world, gender violence became the master of the ceremony as many cases of rape was recorded on a daily basis and looking at it from I closer perspective I would say that the cause of this was because there was legal community or body to check mate crime and also punish offenders.
One of the most interesting thing about sport is boosting morale.
> Competitive physical exercise doesn’t only motivate children and adults to get outside and keep fit but it also instills important values.
When a girl child is allowed to engage in sporting activity, such a child develops self confidence and worth. In my observation, I have come to realize that girls that are less of sporters are easily miss led by people. They are often naive and they can easily be lured into things which are against their wish.
End the violence today. Let your daughter play sport and watch her become a star.
