Splinterlands is an amazing Card Game, in case you've fallen here by chance, this is the best #Play2earn there is. And this post is a weekly event held to spread the word about the @splinterlands universe on social media.
Another week has passed and we are back for another 👉 [Battle Mage Secrets](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/battlemagesecrets-june-1-2023), where battle masters reveal their most intimate secrets given a Rule Set. This time the battle mages' secret will be about the **Explosive Weaponry** rule set .
At the beginning of each battle the Rulesets are displayed, both players see which Rulesets are available and build their strategies, based on this and the recent match history of the opposing player.
These are the main triggers for setting up a winning strategy. In today's post we will show you some ways to protect yourself from the dreaded effects of this rule set.

|All monsters get the **Blast** ability .|

This ability causes damage to adjacent units that have received damage, like shrapnel from an explosion that hits neighboring monsters. Currently, the best way to nullify the effects of the **Blast**  ability is to use cards with the **Reflection Shield**  ability in strategic positions.
However, before the implementation of the **Reflection Shield** ability  the player had to make improvised strategies. And these moves can still be used today, in the absence of monsters with this ability.
Using monsters with the ability **Shield**  and **Void**  adjoining the tank or monster that will receive most attacks was a way to reduce or nullify the effects of **Blast** . So, the best monsters with these abilities were **Lord Arianthus** and **Chain Golem**, as both monsters have plenty of health.

Another way to take advantage of the effects caused by **Blast** is to return some of the damage to the opponent through the abilities **Magic Reflect**  and **Return Fire**  in conjunction with **Amplify** , in order to amplify the effects of reflected damage, by (+1). Placing these cards in the second position, after the tank. Below are shown some combinations with monsters that have these abilities.

There are many ways to defend against the effects of **Blast**, but none are more effective than using cards with the **Reflection Shield** ability . And currently, there are 12 cards with this amazing ability, which can be placed in the second or fifth position to more effectively defend against the effects of **Blast**.
A Summoner that grants all monsters the **Blast** ability is **Yodin Zaku**, a legendary Summoner from Untamed edition. For granting this ability it has good victory stats and therefore its rental and purchase price is high.

**Yodin Zaku**, before the **Reflection Shield** ability  was a meta of the game, but even so he is one of the most powerful summoners in Splinterlands.
To put into practice the secrets revealed so far, nothing better than a battle containing the **Explosive Weaponry** Rule Set .

The battle took place in Gold League, in Wild mode, and featured the following Ruleset: **Fire & Regret**  and **Explosive Weaponry** . With the Splinter of **Water** and **Dagron**, plus 33 mana available.

I chose the splinter of **Dagron** with strategy focused monsters to attack the last enemy position with the ability **Sneak** . Choosing monsters with *Melee** attack , that way I chose the Summoner **Daria Dragonscale** which increases (+1) melee damage. Our opponent chose the Water Splinter Summoner **Alric Stormbringer** which increases the magic damage by (+1).

**Below follows our escalation strategy:**

||In the first position, I have scaled BAAKJIRA as the main tank, because as the possibility of facing magic damage monsters is high and because it possesses an absurd amount of health combined with the ability **Heal**  leaves any opponent with a headache.|
||In the second position I climbed GELATINOUS CUBE, another barrier to receive the damage done by **Blast** and its abilities **Heal**  and **Scavenger** , helps regenerate your health and stay longer on the field.|
||In the third position was URAEUS who has attack *Melee**  and the abilities **Sneak**  and **Poison** . The focus will now be on monsters with the ability to attack the enemy backli|
||Soon after, I scaled DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR, another monster with the ability **Sneak**  which in conjunction with **Double Strike**  does a lot of damage to the opponent.|
||Next, I climbed PELACOR BANDIT that has the abilities **Sneak**  and high speed.|
||And finally, I climbed SPINEBACK TURTLE to protect our backline from possible attacks **Sneak** .|

### Come Check out the Battle!
As predicted the opponent climbed the Water Splinter with a strategy focused on **magic** damage, because even the effect of the **Blast** ability  on magic damage directly hit the opponent's health.
I ended up scaling a unit without the **Reflection Shield** ability , which would be the logical thing to do. However, I decided to kill the nostalgia of when this ability did not exist. I placed a monster with the ability **Heal** and a lot of Health, GELATINOUS CUBE.
The battle has begun and all monsters have the ability **Blast** . Let's see if the opponent can destroy our incredible barriers BAAKJIRA and GELATINOUS CUBE, the luck of our opponent was that I chose some units with the ability **Sneak** and for his misfortune we put SPINEBACK TURTLE just to fight back this type of damage.

And in the first round the opponent lost three monsters from his backline, only with the attacks of three monsters that are on the offensive: URAEUS, DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR and PELACOR BANDIT. I love strategies with attack on the backline with **Sneak** , especially with the **Explosive Weaponry** Rule Set , because usually the opponent uses some defense strategy in the second position.
Now our opponent is down to one card, DJINN OSHANNUS, which will not be able to destroy our barriers on its own. GELATINOUS CUBE raised his health with the **Scavenger** ability  becoming even stronger.

Today's post revealed some secrets of the battle mages for the **Explosive Weaponry** Rule Set . This is a rule that the player either hates or loves, as there are several ways to take advantage of it. In this post we show some possibilities.

Dessa vez o segredo dos magos de batalha será sobre o conjunto de regra **Explosive Weaponry** .
No inicio de cada batalha o Conjunto de Regras são mostrados, ambos os jogadores vêem quais são os Conjunto de Regras disponível e montam suas estratégias, em função disto e do histórico recente de partidas do jogador adversário.
Estes são os principais gatilhos para montagem de uma estratégia vencedora. No post de hoje vamos mostrar algumas forma de para se proteger dos temívels efeitos desse Conjunto de Regras.

|Todos os monstros recebem a habilidade **Blast** .|

Essa habilidade causa dano as unidades adjancentes que recebeu dano, como se fossem estilhaços de uma explosão que atingem os monstros vizinhos. Atualmente, a melhor maneira de anular os efeitos da habilidade **Blast**  é utilizar cartas com a habilidade **Reflection Shield** , em posições estratégicas.
Porém, antes da implementação da habilidade **Reflection Shield**  o jogador tinha que fazer estratégias improvisadas. E essas jogadas podem ser utilizadas até hoje, na falta de monstros com essa habilidade.
Utilizar monstros com a habilidade **Shield**  e **Void**  adjancente ao tanque ou ao monstro que receberá a maioria dos ataques era uma forma de reduzir ou anular os efeitos de **Blast** . Então, os melhores monstros com essas habilidades eram **Lord Arianthus** e **Chain Golem**, pois ambos os monstros possuem bastante saúde.

Uma outra forma de aproveitar os efeitos causado por **Blast** é devolvendo parte do dano para o oponente através das habilidades **Magic Reflect** e **Return Fire**  em conjunto com **Amplify** , a fim de amplificar os efeitos dos danos refletidos, em (+1). Colocando essas cartas na segunda posição, após o tanque. Abaixo são mostradas algumas combinações com monstros que possuem essas habilidades.

Existem várias formas para se defender dos efeitos de **Blast**, mas nenhuma é mais efetiva do que utilizar cartas com a habilidade **Reflection Shield** . E atualmente, existem 12 cartas com essa incrível habilidade, que podem ser posicionadas na segunda ou quinta posição para se defender de forma mais efetivas dos efeitos de **Blast**.
Um Invocador que concede a todos os monstros a habilidade **Blast** é **Yodin Zaku**, uma Invocador lendário da edição Untamed. Por conceder esta habilidade tem boas estatística de vitória e por isso seu aluguel e cotação para compra é elevado.

**Yodin Zaku**, antes da habilidade **Reflection Shield**  era meta do jogo, porém mesmo assim é um dos invocadores mais poderoso de Splinterlands.
Para colocar em prática os segredos revelados até agora, nada melhor que uma batalha contendo o Conjunto de Regra **Explosive Weaponry** .

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Gold, no modo Wild, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: **Fire & Regret**  e **Explosive Weaponry** . Com os Splinter de **Água** e **Dagrão**, além de 33 de mana disponível.

Eu escolhi o splinter de **Dagrão** com monstros focados em estratégia para atacar a última posição inimiga com a habilidade **Sneak** . Escolhendo monstros com ataque *Melee** , dessa forma escolhi o Invocador **Daria Dragonscale** que aumenta (+1) de dano melee. Nosso oponente escolheu o Invocador **Alric Stormbringer** do Splinter de Água que aumenta o dano mágico em (+1).

**Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:**

||Na primeira posição, escalei BAAKJIRA como tanque principal, pois como a possibilidade de enfrentar monstros de dano mágico é alto e porque possui um quantidade de saúde absurda combinada a habilidade **Heal**  deixa qualquer oponente com dor cabeça.|
||Na segunda posição escalei GELATINOUS CUBE, outra barreira para receber os danos causado por **Blast** e suas habilidades **Heal**  e **Scavenger** , ajuda a regenerar sua saúde e permanecer mais tempo em campo.|
||Na terceira posição foi escalado URAEUS que possui ataque *Melee**  e a habilidade **Sneak**  e **Poison** . O foco agora será em monstro com habilidade de atacar a backline inimiga.|
||Logo após, escalei DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR, outro monstro com a habilidade **Sneak**  que em conjunto com **Double Strike**  causam bastante dano ao oponente.|
||Em seguida, escalei PELACOR BANDIT que possua as habilidades **Sneak**  e alta velocidade.|
||E por fim, escalei SPINEBACK TURTLE para proteger nossa backline de possiveis ataques **Sneak** .|

### Venha Conferir a Batalha!
Como previsto o oponente escalou o Splinter de Água com uma estratégia focada em dano **mágico**, pois até o efeito da habilidade **Blast**  em dano mágico atingi diretamente a saúde do oponente.
Eu acabei escalando uma unidade sem a habilidade **Reflection Shield** , que seria o lógico. Porém, resolvi matar as saudades de quando essa habilidade não existia. E Coloquei um monstro com a habilidade **Heal** e com bastante Saúde, GELATINOUS CUBE.
A batalha se iniciou e todos os monstros possuem a habilidade **Blast** . Vamos ver se o oponente consegue destruir nossas incríveis barreiras BAAKJIRA e GELATINOUS CUBE, a sorte de nosso oponenente foi ter escolhi algumas unidades com a habilidade **Sneak** e para infelicidade dele colocamos SPINEBACK TURTLE justamente para revidar este tipo de dano.

E na primeira rodada o oponente perdeu três monstros da sua backline, somente com os ataques de três monstros que estão na ofensiva: URAEUS, DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR e PELACOR BANDIT. Eu amo estratégias com ataque na backline com **Sneak** , principalmente com o Conjunto de regra **Explosive Weaponry** , porque geralmente o oponente utiliza alguma estratégia de defesa na segunda posição.
Agora nosso oponente esta somente com uma carta, DJINN OSHANNUS, que não irá conseguir sozinho destruir nossas barreira. GELATINOUS CUBE elevou sua saúde com a habilidade **Scavenger**  se tornando ainda mais forte.
