enumerate() fonksiyonu # 1 - Python Dersleri (Tutorials)

Python programlama derslerinin bu bölümünde _enumerate()_ fonksiyonuna başlayacağız.

_enumerate_  kelimesi İngilizce "numaralanırmak" kelimesinin karşılığıdır. Bu fonksiyonun görevi de ismi ile oldukça benzerlik göstermektedir.

_enumerate_ fonksiyonu, nesneleri numaralandırmak için kullanılır.  Daha açık ifade etmek gerekirse bir listedeki hem elemanı hem de indeksi getirir.

Normal şartlarda biz bir liste içerisindeki hem eleman bilgisini hem de indeks bilgisini almak isteseydik aşağıdaki gibi bir yapı uygulamamız gerekirdi :

Ancak bu işi _enumerate()_ fonksiyonuyla şöyle yaparız. Öncelikle şunu belirtelim. _enumerate()_ fonksiyonu kullanıldığında _enumerate_ tipinde bir değişken döndürür :

İçeriğini görmek için _list()_ fonksiyonunu kullanabileceğimiz gibi aşağıdaki tekniği de kullanabiliriz:

Görüldüğü gibi yukarıdaki çok satırlı uygulamanın yaptığını _enumerate()_ fonksiyonunu kullanarak tek hamlede yaptık.

_enumerate()_ fonksiyonu , uygulandığında ikili demet şeklide bir yapı ortaya çıkarıyor. Böylece bir listenin hem indeksine hem de kendisine erişim sağlamış oluyoruz.
