String Metotları #3 - Python Dersleri (Tutorials)

Python programlama derslerine string metotlarıyla devam ediyoruz. 

## strip() metodu

_strip()_ metodu parametre olarak aldığı değeri, stringin başından ve sonundan siler.

Örneğin bir şifre girildi ancak bu şifrenin başında ve sonunda boşluklar bırakılmışsa, bu boşlukları silmek için kullanılabilir.

Silinecek karakter boşluk karakteri olduğu için, metoda herhangi bir parametre geçirmeye gerek yoktur. Örnekte olduğu gibi boş kullanılması yeterlidir.

>  _strip()_ metoduna herhangi bir parametre girilmezse varsayılan olarak boşluk karakteri kabul edilir.

##  lstrip() ve rstrip() metodları

Bu metotlar da _strip()_ metodunun yaptığı şeyin aynısını yapmaktadır. 

_strip()_ metodundan farklı olarak _lstrip()_ metodu, parametre olarak aldığı değeri stringin solundan (başındaki) silerken; _rstrip()_ metodu stringin sağından yani sonundan silme işlemi yapar.

Uygulamasını görelim :

Örneklerde görüldüğü gibi stringin sol ve sağ tarafındaki boşluklar silindi. _strip()_ metodunun başındaki "l", left yani sol anlamında kullanılırken "r", right yani sağ anlamında kullanılmaktadır.

Bu metotları kullanırken boşluk dışındaki karakterleri de silebilirsiniz :

## join() metodu

_join()_ metodu, liste elemanlarını verilen string ifadeyle birleştirilmesini sağlar.

Uygulamasını görelim :

Örnekte görüldüğü gibi _join()_ metodunu kullanarak liste elemanları arasına istediğimiz karakteri sokabilir ve liste elemanlarından oluşan bir string elde edebiliriz.

_join()_ metodunu kullanarak harfler arasına nokta karakteri de koyabiliriz:
