Welcome to Part 3 of our Superfans journey, where we explore how to turn our connected community into raving fans! Building a strong community is a great start, but to truly create super fans who are devoted to your brand, you need to go above and beyond!

The key is to create memorable moments that delight and surprise your fans. And one way to do this is by interrupting the routine. Now, this might sound like a bad idea, but hear me out.

Pat tells a story about a couple who have been together for decades. He was curious about how they managed to stay together for so long. After all, when you've been together for that long, certain routines can start to pile up. But don't get me wrong, routines can be a good thing! They can provide comfort and stability. However, sometimes it's important to shake things up a bit. By trying something new, whether it's spicing up a routine or doing something entirely different, a couple can breathe new life into their relationship. It's not always easy to break out of a routine, but the benefits are often worth it.

> Interrupting the pattern. This is huge and makes perfect sense, because those random things are the things that get remembered. Routines are great, don’t get me wrong. They help us build healthy habits and allow us to automate a lot of our day, but when it comes to people, automation can only take you so far. It’s the thoughtful, unautomated moments that can take you to the next level.

As humans, we are creatures of habit. We love our routines because they provide us with a sense of stability and comfort. However, when it comes to building relationships, routines can become a bit monotonous.

This is where the power of interrupting the pattern comes in. It's about shaking things up and adding a bit of spontaneity to the mix. It's about doing something unexpected that breaks the routine and creates a memorable moment.

Now, how can we apply this concept to our connected community? One way is to surprise and delight them with unexpected gestures or rewards. These can be as simple as sending a personalized email or handwritten note, or as elaborate as hosting an exclusive event or giveaway. The key is to show your fans that you appreciate them and value their support, and that you are willing to go above and beyond to make them feel special.

> Making thins irregular and unexpected is they key thing here - your audience will get used to a pattern. Break that pattern and help them remember why they love you, and why you should always be in their life. And most importantly, give without asking for anything in return.

I think just the fact that we keep showing up everyday and do the work is already a plus. Not every owner unfortunately is even there for a quick support response for example. On the other hand, giving the opportunity to have a first glance of a new product of service before anyone else can make some of our fans feel super!

Another way to create memorable moments is to involve your community in the creative process. Ask for their input and feedback on new products, services, or content, and give them a sense of ownership and collaboration. This can be done through surveys, polls, or even focus groups. By involving your fans in the decision-making process, you not only make them feel valued, but you also gain valuable insights and ideas that can help improve your offerings.

Ultimately, the key to turning your connected community into super fans is to prioritize their needs and desires above your own. Show them that you are invested in their success and happiness, and that you are committed to providing them with the best possible experience. By putting your fans first, you will build a loyal and dedicated following that will support you for years to come.
