*“Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo...”* se oía el murmullo como una letanía tras la gruesa puerta de madera que separaba el cuarto de mamá y el nuestro. 

En la mañana al despertarnos, cuando íbamos a desayunar, mamá estaba tranquila como si nada hubiera ocurrido, aunque sus rezos en la madrugada advertían que algo estaba mal; pero ella no comentó lo que pasaba detrás de esa vieja puerta.

Papá estaba trabajando fuera de la ciudad y mamá dormía sola en el cuarto matrimonial, aunque tal vez no estaba tan sola, según supimos días después.

Al tercer día de escuchar los murmullos de rezos en la madrugada, mamá salió de su cuarto acelerada cargando unos libros y revistas en sus manos e hizo una hoguera con ellos en el patio interior de la casa. Estaba desorientada y sus ojos desorbitados denotaban un profundo horror.

Mis hermanos mayores corrieron a acompañarla, pero yo me quedé petrificado en la puerta del cuarto, mirando el fuego arder. Desde lo lejos logré divisar el cuerpo de una mujer semidesnuda chamuscarse en la portada de una de las revistas que coronaba la hoguera.

Yo era muy pequeño para entender las cosas que pasaban, pero días después mi hermano me dijo que mamá le había contado lo que le venía sucediendo:

> Las últimas noches, al caer la madrugada, la cama comenzaba a moverse y el colchón se sacudía violentamente; de inmediato mi madre caía de rodillas a orar el *“Padre Nuestro”* y el Salmos 91, lo cual hacía hasta que terminaba el temblor.

> Al tercer día de repetirse esos eventos, la cama se sacudió con tal violencia que el colchón quedó desencajado de su base, develando un montón de revistas y material que mi madre consideraba impropio, y procedió a quemarlo inmediatamente.

> Luego de esa noche no volvieron a ocurrir situaciones de esa naturaleza.

Yo, ahora de adulto, recuerdo los hechos y pienso en la presencia de entes o poltergeist acosando a mi madre, aunque ella hasta el día de hoy lo siga viendo como la lucha entre el diablo y una sierva del Dios viviente.

Hola @eliezerfloyd, es grato contar con tu participación en el Tercer Encuentro Paranormal. Este relato que hoy nos traes, el cual está hecho impecablemente, refleja algo que debe haber sido muy difícil para tí afrontar en la niñez. Los polstergeist son fenómenos que nos pueden descolocar terriblemente, a menos que tengamos mucha fortaleza, que supongo tu mamá la tuvo gracias a su fe. Extrañamente hay humanos encarnados, (algunos pocos), que consideran que es normal que una entidad se manifieste con fuerza en su mundo físico, diciendo "bueno, es que aún no comprende que ha muerto", y esto no debe ser razón para justificar ninguna perturbación de nuestra realidad, así pues, que lo que hizo tu mamá estuvo bien, puso a cada quien en su franja de realidad, y además logró tranquilidad para sí misma.
