Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my journey within Web3 from the perspective of someone still finding their footing, but firmly committed to growth. I wanted to share my story with the Olio di Balena and LeoFinance communities, hoping it resonates with others on a similar path.

My Starting Point

I came to this ecosystem with limited knowledge, barely aware of tokens, decentralized finance, staking, or blogging on Hive. But I was curious and motivated. As a member of Olio di Balena, I joined conversations, followed others’ initiatives. Gradually, I discovered LeoFinance and the broader Hive community.

Getting Involved, My first posts felt awkward, I lacked strategy, clarity, and engagement. But I stuck with it: researched editing practices, explored trending topics, improved headlines, and studied formatting and tagging, especially how to use the right keywords and tags like #crypto, #investing, #LEO. 

I began posting consistently: and occasional blog posts about personal goals or finances. With every interaction, I improved a little, learning how to craft content that adds value.

Learning to engage, I started actively engaging with others’ posts, commenting thoughtfully, upvoting useful resources, and asking questions where I didn’t fully understand. This helped me build visibility and deepen my understanding of finance a little bit, I know I am still new but, I make a lot of researchs. 

Understanding the LeoFinance Ecosystem, I now better appreciate what LeoFinance represents: a Web3 community where creators learn about finance, crypto, investing, economics, and earn tokenized rewards for their contributions. It’s integrated with the Hive ecosystem and the LEO token economy. 

Additionally, features like CubFinance and DeFi tools to everyday users through external vaults and liquidity pools, offering yield on deposits using Hive and Leo tokens, I am still looking to understand more about this.

Content Strategy That Works, Here’s a method I found though I haven't tried it all but they are effective according to research, and it aligns with standard guidance for both communities:

1. Choose a relevant topic/title: something that offers practical insight, trends, or personal experience.

2. Research content thoroughly: verify statistics, avoid assumptions, and gather reputable sources. 

3. Write clearly & concisely: use short paragraphs, headers, bullets to enhance readability.

4. Cite sources and add image credits: especially when sharing external data or graphics. 

5. Proofread and avoid plagiarism: always paraphrase properly, check with tools if needed. 

6. Publish with formatted tags: use Hive markdown and tags like #leofinance, #oliodibalena, #finance.

7. Engage post publication: respond to comments, reblog relevant threads, and stay part of the conversation.

I’m still early in the journey, not wealthy, not famous on Hive, but I have seen steady growth in my Hive Power, , and engagement. I’ve cultivated a simple habit, every day, I do one small thing, write a short post, comment, or read something I didn’t yet understand. It might be slow, but it’s sustainable.

Why Keep Going? Web3 combined with finance education gives us a unique opportunity. You don't need large capital to start, you just need consistency and curiosity. Knowledge compounds. So does engagement. And slowly, your presence becomes meaningful. Whether it’s sharing savings tips, crypto investing insights, or explaining simple finance in human terms, the impact is real.


If you're in either Olio di Balena or LeoFinance, know there’s space for you. Share your questions, ideas, even small wins. Lean into micro‑blogging threads or full posts, both formats work.
