My Actifit Report Card: May 25 2020

Hey guys!!  Thanks for stopping by!

I had a bit of a restless night. I was awakened by an intense pain in the middle of the night and then later on by a strange dream. Still processing both ๐Ÿ™ƒ I later woke up to the relaxing and comforting sound of rain hitting the tree canopy over our house. We had slept with the window open last night. 

The day remained grey and rainy for the majority of it. My coffee customer who owns a B&B had contacted me wanting 12 pounds of coffee.  We have a bit of time to fulfill the order, so I thought Iโ€™d roast some today, tomorrow and on another day here soon. I also had another customer text me wanting a pound by Thursday.  I spent my afternoon roasting coffee and pacing the house while watching a movie on Netflix as I knew I wasnโ€™t getting out for a hike. Whereas it did stop raining sometime in the afternoon, I was still roasting coffee, so @silvertop went to feed the neighborโ€™s cats and went for a short hike up the road. 

After roasting, we began setting up all of our equipment for next Sunday as we are scheduled to lead worship via FB live. Itโ€™s easier to set up and leave it all up throughout the week than to constantly tear it down and reset it back up. 

I noticed Actifit-Lamb was not in her usual hangout, and when I went looking for her, this is what I found:

She had managed to get on top of my keyboard and was seriously pondering the chord chart I use to play.

She had heard the new song we worked on tonight and I guess sheโ€™s interested in learning to play. At least thatโ€™s what she told me, lol!  She would need a much smaller keyboard ๐Ÿ˜

By then it was well beyond time for dinner when we got done.  I am looking forward to bed here soon. 

Since I didnโ€™t get outside today Iโ€™m going to share a Vine Maple leaf photo I took last week to add a spot of greenery to this post!

I enjoy light rain, and I think it is because the sounds of light rain can be relaxing and comforting  I even enjoy driving in light rain. You've been busy roasting! How long does it take to roast a batch of coffee beans the capacity of your roaster? Hehehe, let us hear actifit lamb play the keyboard!!!

Hey Sis, @silversaver888!  The coffee roasters are a one pound capacity making them a micro roaster.  Propane fired and fluid bed, they are very interesting to watch and even better to go stand outside under the exhaust when the smoke starts pouring out!  Only downside is it takes 3 days of shampooing to get the "coffee tar' out of my hair.  It doesn't show or look funny, but you can smell coffee for 3 days, so maybe it's not a downside!  As for Actifit-Lamb......well she needs to work on that...... a lot!  Take care my sweet sis and have a lovely week!๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐ŸŒธ

Maybe you can sew yourself a bonnet. Many times, when I cook, I not only were an apron but also cover my hair with a cotton bandana. SO stylish too!๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿค—
