My Actifit Report Card: July 23 2020

Hi guys and thanks for stopping by!

Thursday’s are nice as it gives me time to work on loose ends that need tying up. There are no appointments at the clinic on Thursday. I did have an elderly man pull open the door this morning and walk in before I had time to even breathe. I usually lock it right away, but was sanitizing surfaces left from yesterday’s busy day. His glasses were broken so I asked him to sit down while I went to get my mask and gloves. Then I handed him a mask as he came without one and fixed his glasses. He then asked to schedule an appointment. 

I did a lot of dispenses today, verified insurance information for tomorrow, called to remind patients, logged checks, did some billing, and called insurance companies to research claims gone awry, processed and mailed statements and many other odds and ends. A productive day for sure. 

After work, I ran to the local grocer to get milk for @silvertop’s lattes and some coconut milk for mine. Then I headed for home. 

After a bit of a break, we headed out for a hike. It’s been cooler the past 2 days which is nice. The mosquitos are STILL hungry!  Because of the lateness of the hour, we just went to the entrance to Bear Hollow. We needed to run through music. 

There’s this fallen tree that Keith chainsawed a bit ago just at the top entrance to the upper trail. @actifit-lamb begged to climb up and pose for a picture, but before I could take it, she asked for the mosquito repellent. They were going after her!🙀

We use picardin instead of deet which she says she’s grateful for. She likes things as natural as they can be. 

We headed down the trail and got back home. We then proceeded to plug in and turn on the amps and mic and various pieces of equipment to run through the music. The neighborhood got a mini concert, but I know they enjoy it. Our next door neighbor is a retired pastor, lol!

I bet you always have a min-concert in your own home too, sis! I wish I could sing... but I do sing almost every day and sometimes not just in the shower... and that is the advantage of living alone. I have my own karaoke system to help me out, hehe.

I believe that most people can sing, and I suspect you might do well.  I really have only heard one or two people who could not, but in worship, we are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

And, now it's Friday!! Time only goes faster as you get older.....take it from me, lol!
