My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2020

Hi guys and thanks for stopping by!

This morning found us ready to do a FB live worship stream for our church. I had a moment of sheer panic when I went to start the broadcast 3 times and I kept getting a message โ€˜your broadcast failedโ€™!  I was a bit freaked to say the least. I shut the app down and tried a 4th time-it worked! Hallelujah!๐Ÿ™

Today was going to be a scorcher, so we put off hiking until early evening.  We ran to Lynden to pick up a few things I needed from the grocery as they have a wider selection and what I was needing wasnโ€™t going to be at the local one in Everson. 

After we got back, we headed out. Not only was it HOT and muggy, the mosquitos had stepped up their game by about 10 notches!๐Ÿ˜ณ  we didnโ€™t get too far until we pulled out the picardin repellent. It was a fight even with that on!  

@actifit-lamb wanted to write in the book at the Buckhorn Loop trail bench, so we stopped there.

We headed back down rather quickly and then on to home.  Dinner was salad and was quite tasty. Soon itโ€™ll be time for bed.

Wow, great step count for a day when you're having a heat wave! We have been experiencing quite high temperatures here in MN as well, but fortunately it looks like we are heading toward some nicer temperatures over the next few days.

I really can't complain as we've had a very strange summer.  It's generally been rainy and cool, but the down side to that is that you are totally NOT prepared when the heat does hit and it hurts twice as bad!  Tomorrow is going to be the hottest, but the next 4 days are going to be uncomfortable.

Hey @silversaver888!  No worries!

Things do tend to work out even if you're in panic mode, as I was at that point, lol!  

It's even hotter today, and that's hard as we had no 'warming' up for this!  If you're gradually warmer each day, that's one thing, but going from the upper 60's-lower 70's to 90 isn't fun.
