The properties of Oregon Grape are anti fungal, disinfectant, and antibacterial. Indications for use found in researching are as follows: stomach ulcers, gastreosophageal reflux disease, stomach upset, cleanse for the bowels, treat infections and used as a bitter tonic. Most websites indicate specific percents to use in creams and also if taking internally. They also advise seeking the advice of a healthcare profession prior to self medicating.
