THE VIEW FROM A WORLD WITHIN OUR WORLD - 22 OF A SERIES
We went for a hike earlier this evening.  We had enough daylight to take the Slumbering Bear Trail (yes it's name reflects what has been found there!).  I came upon one tree just loaded with all of this!

This was at about eye level.

This looks like it's been fire roasted.

I looked down toward the bottom of the tree and barely saw the top one poking out.

After carefully moving dead leaves and the fern out of the way, I exposed the rest of it.

So many all on the same tree.

It sort of resembles a bit of a disjointed stairway.  Especially if you are able to stand back and take the whole tree in.  Nature is truly amazing!!
