¡Hola, hermosa comunidad!

En mi familia dicen que no tenemos tradiciones, pero gracias a este espacio, las fotos y los recuerdos, me he ido dado cuenta que si las hay.

En Ecuador, país donde nací, tienen por costumbre agarrar a los bebés de sus pies y hacer como especie de un levantamiento, hasta ver cuando resiste el equilibrio. A esa costumbre se le llama *"Chocolito"*.

En la imagen de portada, pueden ver como mi hermano mayor, le hace chocolito a mi hermana Sarah, en mi caso fue mi papá, pero no logró encontrar esa foto en el álbum familiar.

Cuando Ammy tenía 5 meses, mi papá (su abuelo) le hizo **chocolito**, mi esposo estaba algo nervioso mientras observaba y yo, que ya sabía de que se trataba, como todo una mamarazzi capturaba el momento en una fotografía.

>When Ammy was 5 months old, my dad (her grandfather) made her **"chocolito"**, my husband was a little nervous as he watched and I, who already knew what it was all about, like a mamarazzi captured the moment in a photograph.

Un año después, le tocó el turno a Amelie, ella tenía 8meses, ya que sus piernas no eran tan firmes e iba poco a poco por su condición, la cual en ese entonces desconocíamos. 

Como se muestra en la foto, en esta ocasión papá @josuemonterola ya sonreía, pues ya conocía la costumbre del **Chocolito**.

En noviembre del 2020, con tan solo 4 meses, llegó el turno de Joaquín, a pesar de estar lejos de casa, contó con la bendición de tener al abuelito cerca y este en darse el gusto de hacerle a su nieto, el anhelado **Chocolito**.

Con lo que no se contaba era, que Joaquín pegó un grito y luego del chocolito, ya no quería nada con el abuelo jajaja. El abuelo lo agarraba y el comenzaba a llorar. Creo que estaba muy joven para vivir esa experiencia 🤭🤣.

>In November 2020, when he was only 4 months old, Joaquin's turn came, despite being far from home, he was blessed to have his grandfather close by and he had the pleasure of giving his grandson the longed-for **"Chocolito"**.

>What he didn't know was that Joaquín screamed and after the chocolito, he didn't want anything to do with grandpa anymore hahaha. Grandpa grabbed him and he started to cry. I think he was too young to live that experience 🤣🤭

Mi papá ama tanto hacerle chocolito a los bebés de su familia, que ninguno se le ha escapado e incluso, no le importó salir sin camisa en la última foto, mientras se la tomarán par el recuerdo.

>My dad loves making **chocolito** for the babies in his family so much, that none of them have escaped him and he even didn't mind being shirtless in the last picture, as long as it was taken for the memory.

Espero que no queden traumado con el **Chocolito** y ustedes puedan adoptar una linda tradición familiar, que perdure con el tiempo y los recuerdos.
