El día de ayer, miércoles 02 de Junio, mi segunda hija Amelie Sophia, amaneció vomitando a causa de una torta que le cayó mal.

Aquí en Ecuador se celebra el día del niño el 01 de Junio, con tantas cosas y gastos, incluyendo la costumbre de celebrarlo en Julio, cuando estaba en Venezuela, olvidé comprarle algo  mis hijos, sí, soy la peor jajaja.

Mi hija mayor, al ser más grande, poder hablar y ser más detallista, me hizo un pequeño reclamo, le expliqué que no teníamos dinero, pero que les haría un pastel especial.

¡Vaya! De verdad que fue especial, casi nos mata ese pastel. Soy repostera hace años, hago pasteles o tortas incluso para vender y jamás me había pasado algo asi. Lo especial era, que les hice una torta de colores, pero no me fije que los colorantes estaban vencidos.

En lo particular, a mí no me gusta usar colorantes en la masa del pastel, al menos que el cliente lo pida o sea en la decoración. Pero esta vez, los clientes eran mis hijos, la del invito yo 😖😓

Nos comimos la torta, cenamos, paso la noche y fuimos a domir, pero ayer en la mañana, mi pequeña Amelie amaneció realmente mal. Mi esposo fue el primero en despertar y al verla vomitar, salió corriendo a su auxilio. La bañó mientras yo me levantaba, ya que atendía al bebé y calmadaba a la otra niña que estaba asustada.

Él (mi esposo), es quién siempre los cuida cuando estan enfermos, ya que yo soy muy nerviosa, sin embargo tuvo que irse a trabajar, quedando yo sola con los 3. Amelie siguió vomitando, tuve que llamarlo y salió de su trabajo a comprar medicina y suero, las trajo a casa y decidimos llevar a la niña a un centro de salud.

Antes del virus, no iba mucho al hospital, al menos que fuera una emergencia real, con esto del covid-19, menos voy. Pero resulta que cuando es vómito o diarrea, yo no juego con eso ni auto medico.

>He (my husband) is the one who always takes care of them when they are sick, as I am very nervous, but he had to go to work, leaving me alone with the 3 of them. Amelie kept vomiting, I had to call him and he left work to buy medicine and serum, he brought them home and we decided to take the girl to a health centre.

>Before the virus, I didn't go to the hospital much, unless it was a real emergency, with this covid-19 thing, I don't go much. But it turns out that when it's vomiting or diarrhoea, I don't play with it or self-medicate.

Eran las 11 a.m. la niña había vomitado ya 4 veces en la mañana, fuimos al centro de salud y ¡sorpresa! Como no había nadie, las doctoras iban saliendo a almorzar y por ende **no podían atendernos**, por lo cual nos dijeron que volviéramos a las 2p.m.  🤬😡😤 Les expliqué que la niña estaba vomitando, pero ellas insistieron, ya que se iban.

**Pésimo Servicio:**

Se supone que ante todo debe estar la salud y bienestar de sus pacientes, faltaba 1 hora para el almuerzo y como dijo mi esposo, tenían que irse todas y por tanto tiempo. 

Mi esposo tuvo que irse a trabajar nuevamente, me quedé una vez más sola con los niños. A las 2p.m. le dije a Ammy que cuidará de su hermanito mientras iba al centro de salud **otra vez**, menos mal queda al lado de mi casa.

Al llegar, la recepcionista me regañó, diciéndome que tenía que llevarla en la mañana, ¿pero que le pasa a esa mujer? Yo llevé a mi hija en la mañana y no les dio la gana de atenderme. Luego me regañó por que mi hija tiene es pasaporte y no cédula 🙄😒

As there was no one there, the doctors were going out for lunch and therefore could not attend to us, so they told us to come back at 2p.m. 🤬😡😤 I explained to them that the girl was vomiting, but they insisted, as they were leaving.

>**Lousy service:**

>They are supposed to put the health and welfare of their patients first, it was 1 hour to lunch and as my husband said, they had to leave all of them and for so long.

>My husband had to leave for work again, I was once again left alone with the children. At 2pm I told Ammy to look after her little brother while I went to the health centre again, thank goodness it was next to my house.

>When I arrived, the receptionist scolded me, telling me that I had to take her in the morning, but what is wrong with that woman? I took my daughter in the morning and they didn't want to serve me. Then she scolded me because my daughter has a passport and no identity card 🙄😒.

A todas éstas, ya eran las 2.30pm, pasamos al área de enfermería y vaya, más prejuiciosos, qué porqué no la llevé a las 2p.m. si no a las 2:30pm 😱 pero ¡Dios mio! Lo importante es que la lleve y que la atiendan, en lugar de criticar tanto mi labor de madre, deberían atender a mi hija, que seguía vomitando. 

Le dije: sucede que ella no es mi única hija, yo vine en la mañana, nadie me quiso atender, vine a las 2:30pm y no a las 2pm, ya que tuve que dejar a mis otros 2 hijos solos, uno es un bebé y tenía que darle de comer antes de venir. La señorita enfermera se molestó y me dijo **"Altanera"**.

The important thing is that I took her and that they attended to her, instead of criticising my work as a mother so much, they should attend to my daughter, who was still vomiting.

>I told her: she is not my only daughter, I came in the morning, nobody wanted to attend to me, I came at 2:30pm and not at 2pm, as I had to leave my other 2 children alone, one is a baby and I had to feed her before coming. The nurse lady got upset and called me **"haughty"**.

**Al fin nos atendieron:**

Luego de una larga espera, cuando **No habia nadie y ellas solo tomaban café**, pasaron a mi hija con la doctora. Amelie tiene autismo, no espera, no le gusta esperar, ni que la toque gente que ella no le tiene confianza. Tuve que explicarlo para que la revisaran, ya que de paso para la doctora la niña era mal criada por no dejar que la chequearan.

Amelie has autism, she doesn't wait, she doesn't like to wait, she doesn't like to be touched by people she doesn't trust. I had to explain it to them so that they would check her, and by the way, the doctor thought that the girl was badly brought up for not letting them check her.

**¿Adivinen?** 

Me dijeron que Amelie tenía vómito, causado por lo que comió, ¡Wowwwwww! ¿Cómo lo supo? (Léase con sarcasmo), que le siguiera dando suero y que lo debía comprar por que no había en la farmacia que ellos tienen 🙊🤣

Regresé a casa con mi niña, le pedí a Dios por ella. Se quedó dormida y luego llegó mi esposo, él estaba indignado. Le dije que yo sabía que eso era perder el tiempo, pues no es la primera vez que pasa.

>I went back home with my little girl, I prayed to God for her. She fell asleep and then my husband arrived, he was indignant. I told him that I knew this was a waste of time, as it is not the first time this has happened.

Así que, amigos que estan en Venezuela, no solo allá el servicio en los establecimientos de salud está mal, aquí también y es peor, ya que aquí no hay una crisis politica-social.

**Resaltando lo Bueno:**

No todos los médicos son así, hay quienes sí tienen vocación por lo que hacen y dan una excelente atención a sus pacientes.

Mi hija está mejor, no ha vomitado más y gracias a Dios no era algo mayor, que pudiera ocasionarle un daño más grande.
