Partiendo del punto de vista, donde por muchos años he sido criticada, juzgada y sin embargo nunca me he tenido, donde mi luz cada día brilla con más intensidad, quiero decirte lo siguiente:

Vivimos en un mundo donde muchos a lo malo le llaman bueno, donde nos acostumbramos a oír más que nos digan cuando algo está mal, que nos critiquen y nos mantengan con sus palabras en un constante "no vales la pena", "no puedes", "no sirves" o en los casos más  fuertes aún, muchos han oído decir "eres un completo fracaso".

Nos acostumbramos tanto a oír las cosas malas, que cuando hacemos algo bueno y nos halagan por ello, se nos hace difícil creer que lo hicimos bien. El mundo no está mal, la humanidad lo está, al no ver lo que realmente somos, seres buenos que cometemos errores.

>We live in a world where many call bad things good, where we get used to hearing more and more people tell us when something is wrong, criticize us and keep us with their words in a constant "you are not worth it", "you can't", "you are no good" or in the strongest cases still, many have heard "you are a complete failure".

>We get so used to hearing the bad things, that when we do something good and are praised for it, we find it hard to believe that we did it right. The world is not bad, humanity is bad, failing to see what we really are, good beings who make mistakes.

Y duele, duele oír palabras como "¡Wow! Tienes talento", "que bien lo hiciste", "estoy orgulloso de ti". Sobretodo cuando esas palabras vienen de quienes más resaltaron lo malo de ti.

Es tiempo de cambiar la historía y te lo dice alguien que no cree en mensajes motivacionales, pero creo que cada uno tiene **la capacidad de brillar con luz propia**. Una luz, que no debe apagar la luz de otros, ni creerse más brillante, una luz que puede alcanzar a otros que esten apagados e impulsarlos a que también ellos brillen.

>And it hurts, it hurts to hear words like "Wow! You're talented", "you did so well", "I'm proud of you". Especially when those words come from those who most highlighted the bad things about you.

>It is time to change the story and I am telling you this as someone who does not believe in motivational messages, but I believe that everyone has the ability to shine their own light. A light, which should not extinguish the light of others, nor should we think we are brighter, a light that can reach out to others who are extinguished and encourage them to shine as well.

¿Te has parado frente a el espejo y has visto detenidamente lo grande y bella persona que eres?, sí, tu. Muchos te critican hagas lo bueno o malo y aún siendo bueno, eres más malo aún, pero eso es lo que otros creen de ti, más no es realmente quién eres tú.

Y, ¿a ti qué? A ti, que solo te la pasas criticando o quejándote por lo que otros hacen bien. A ti, que la envidia no te deja ver que también tienes luz, por que tu luz simplemente se apaga cada que deseas oscurecer la de otros. 

>Have you ever stood in front of the mirror and looked closely at what a great and beautiful person you are, yes, you. Many criticize you whether you are good or bad and even if you are good, you are even more bad, but that is what others believe about you, but it is not really who you are.

>And what about you? You, who only spend your time criticising or complaining about what others do well. To you, who envy doesn't let you see that you also have light, because your light just goes out every time you want to darken the light of others.

Parate tu también frente al espejo y en lugar de que querer apagar la luz de alguien más, **tan solo brilla**. No mires que tan intensa sea la luz de los demás, tu solo dedicate a brillar y brilla tanto, que nadie pueda apagarte, ni siquiera tu mismo.

Por años, la humanidad a vivido matándose entre ellos, nos hemos convertidos en asesinos, no de hechos pero sí de palabras y hemos matado sueños, metas e incluso a personas, solo por querer brillar más que ellos, diciéndoles que son menos, esparciendo odio, en lugar de ser tolerantes. 

>Stand in front of the mirror and instead of trying to put out someone else's light, just shine. Don't look at how intense the light of others is, just dedicate yourself to shine and shine so bright, that no one can turn you off, not even yourself.

>For years, humanity has lived killing each other, we have become killers, not in deeds but in words and we have killed dreams, goals and even people, just because we want to shine brighter than them, telling them they are less, spreading hatred, instead of being tolerant.

Hemos sido peor que lo que criticamos muchas veces y nos hemos convertido en el enemigo.  Por que sencillamente se nos enseñó a resaltar más lo malo.

A muchos les cuesta hacer un comentario bueno sobre ellos, sin tener que mencionar algo malo de alguien más, como queriendo escalar sobre la espalda de esa persona para llegar a un nivel más alto y sin ver, que eso solo nos hunde.

>We have been worse than what we criticise many times and have become the enemy. Because we have simply been taught to emphasise the bad.

>Many find it hard to make a good comment about themselves, without having to mention something bad about someone else, as if they want to climb over that person's back to get to a higher level without seeing that it only brings us down.

***¡Ya basta!*** no compitas más, por que cuando compites con otro, es tu propia luz la que apagas. No está mal decirle a otros lo bien que lo han hecho, que estas orgulloso de ellos, eso no te hace menos, eso te hace grande y te lleva lejos. 

Vamos a resaltar lo bueno siempre, ya el mundo sufre bastante el daño causado, ya hay bastantes enfermedades y maldad en la tierra, como para en lugar de brillar, ser parte de lo malo. Es tiempo de halagar más a quienes amamos, de animarles a lograr sus metas, de ser felices cuando otros también brillen.

No compitas más y ***¡Tan solo brilla!*** Brilla tanto, que luz sea tan fuerte que ilumine todo cuanto te rodea.

>**Enough!** Don't compete with yourself, because when you compete with someone else, it is your own light that you put out. It is not wrong to tell others how well they have done, that you are proud of them, it does not make you less, it makes you great and takes you far.

>Let's always highlight the good, the world suffers enough damage, there is enough sickness and evil on earth without being part of the bad instead of shining. It is time to praise more those we love, to encourage them to achieve their goals, to be happy when others shine too.

>Don't compete anymore and **just shine!** Shine so bright, let your light be so strong that it illuminates everything around you.
