 Cat on a Rail 12"x16" acrylic on canvas board 2021 Hey Y'all, Hi OCD community 👋 In this painting, we have a housecat, enjoying a rest on the railing - probably looking for some mischief. I felt inspired to create this after going to a casual painting class with a friend in spring 2021. After the world started going insane at an accelerated rate, it was like having a mental vacation to paint this calm and simple piece. This was a fun, easy going painting and I especially enjoyed working on the cat's face. Sometimes I like to focus on a certain area of the composition and leave the rest somewhat less detailed.
