Sometimes it can be fun to let the mind wander and create without any concern for following all the rules about shadow, light, form, or realism. Because we're on the cusp of winter in the western hemisphere right now, I was also feeling something to acknowledge seasonal change was appropriate to portray. Each piece represents a particular season, using shapes and colors that symbolize something to do with that specific time of year. Our final painting in this mini-series is part 4, Serenity for summer. This one represents the bright and happy feelings of summer with bright colors and carefree shapes. The days are long, the nights are hot. Summer fun!
