Ask leo: Why is the Hive price not maintaining it own stability around $1

I probably won't say I remembered when Hive was trending around $1 which I believe have occured months back after experiencing it trend in that amount earlier this year. The price have fall drastically that is struggling to hit $1 again, though it is not a problem to delibrate on because it will surely experience a higher inflation again.

But then it have come to my notice that the HBD despite been a stablecoin is maintaining that stability of surrounding it amount around $1 which is impressive but then why can Hive not be in that situation as well, is it a must it must be a stablecoin to maintain that amount .

This however have kept me wondering to see this occur and I believe there is an explanation to this situation that I will really appreciate to know with the likes of @taskmaster4450 having more experience and explanation about this.

Though the HBD too haven't surpass the $1 price as well which also hardly experience the aim of increasing to $2 which I still really don't understand how all this works. The future is bright with these coins but then what's behind the inflation and deflation of it price that is fluctuating in that manner.

There's a positive believe Hive will experience a higher amount than what it have experience before but then why can't it maintain around $1 price like the HBD your opinion and explanation is much appreciated.
