We have so many ways in which we can define and explain growth on how we see it which varies. We can view growth by body size which can be addition in body weight likewise we can also view growth in age of a person. But regardless of all these type of growth, there is still one main growth that is important, which is the growth of a matured mind that don't really matter the size and age of a person but how he or she handle situations.

The truth is, the growth of a matured mind don't necessarily mean you have to be older before you can make a meaningful decision or take a step that can change a situation for good, which is occuring and happening in our generation of today. The mindset our **gen z** of this generation showcase is kind of extraordinary that they behave so maturely in what they do.

However, the maturity of every human depends because we have older people who have grown but fail to handle situation maturely which now reflects to the growth am talking about. There are areas we find ourselves in life that requires our actions to act maturely but because as humans our upbringing and lifestyle is different now differs in how we showcase it.

Growth in maturity is not by seniority but how you handle situation and still carry others along without fear. What I believe is the main reason why many people who feel they have grown but fail to handle or make positive decision in their older age is just because of **fear** which I believe is the killer of dreams and many people have kept this in them without looking for a way to eradicate it.

Fear derives this attitude of you not speaking out and once you can't showcase or express yourself to people, then you've not grown to the stage of been matured. The people who find themselves in this kind of situation always rely on people to make decision for them and also rely on them to speak on their behalf which is wrong because someday those people won't be there anymore and things would now look so difficult to continue.

I started having this matured mindset of being confident of myself when I was through with my secondary school and the reason was when things became so difficult for family to maintain a good living, I had to believe in myself that I can turnaround the situation for good. 

I grew confidence in my manner of approach, how I relate with people, how I tolerate things that can lead to conflicts and also how I neglect the aim of been pressurized by people even when oppression was much. 

I wasn't even up to 20 years old when I build myself towards this self confidence but ever since then, it have played a major role in my life that I don't give fear a chance to showcase itself which is definitely a sign of maturity and a reflection of a matured mind.
