There has been tension in the while federation, since The announcement of redesigning the currency,  which of course recieved wide  criticism all over the country due to it little or no change in design only colors and to add to that the colors can wash off, which makes it diffcult to differentiate between the original money and it's counterfeit.

Well! This is Nigeria were out government has a way of always pushing their will of the populace, 

The death-line was given when the old notes will no longer become a legal tender and so with this Nigerians began hauling back their old notes to the bank hoping to get a new one, instead they were given same old notes by these banks saying there is not enough new notes in the bank

**THE BIG ISSUE IS THERE IS NO ENOUGH NEW NOTES TO GO ROUND**

These alone got me really worried why THE CBN will embarked on such massive project if redesigning our currency without making appropriate equivalent amount of cash to counter the old notes, since they also instruct Nigerians to go their banks and exchange their old notes for the new ones, but big big problem now is that when people go to the bank to exchange these money there is no new notes to give out so people are now stranded in the banks ATM centres, POS centres just to withdraw money
Some times they can spend the entire day at these places just to get funds

Yesterday at the gas station I witnessed a fight between these two, after an argument ensued between them both, the price of PMS now in Nigeria is over the roof which is so making everything very expensive coupled with the shortage of cash in the economy, but why do we have to go thru so much hectic stress of some indecisiveness or wrong actions or inactions of someone at the hem of affairs in coordinating the workings of these country, why not seat down to fully deliberate on these,

If The CBN really wanted to redesign these currencies to mop out the old ones while not reprint the exact same amount that is in the bank vault to counter the old notes, Nigeria is currently the most populated country in Africa, and knowing how many people will need to get access to their money in order to do business or one thing or the other why didn't they take these into consideration before launching their opinion on Nigerians.
