I have to admit that whatever you use from common or rare but nothing is better than epic ones as it has a magic power that could do a lot in the battle and this is not for high damage and high range as in common side you could find that you have same attack for some towers like epic and even better range than those for epic.

For Example you have Fountain of Terror with a better range than most of epic towers but as I have said it is not about damage and range, in Epic Towers it is about type of attack that vary from chain to area to tesla attack and this attack which determine a group of fiend could reach your gate or destroyed to the ground.

I have use Amped Zapper for this purpose as it has a chain attack and if you don't know this means that a group of fiends that would come to your gate and in the way, first one would be hit and the other ones after him will expose to the same attack that may vary in damage but you would guarantee a chain of attack literally.

What is good about Charnel pit also is that it has a very good fire interval and this is of 1.5 which makes it a fast tower and also can be used 4 times in the battle and with magic attack up to 200.

Chain Max Target is 2 and this is for level one Amped Zapper but it has a chain damage multiplier of 1.2 and with this tower you could attack any fiend but the only drawback from my point of view is that it can be used with 160 Mana which is very high number so best solution is to use Cheapo with it to get a discount for this tower.
