No doubt the blockchain space is full of surprises - both pleasant and unpleasant ones. In recent times, we saw what unpleasant surprise can be in form of a blockchain and its native Token exemplified by Terra LUNA. It is true that BTC gave some unpleasant trends too, although some saw it coming as a matter of its circling phase.

Many tokens saw a huge downward spiral with BTC dragging them along. The uppercut punch was unleashed with the LUNA crazy dump which saw even the so called diamond hands letting go a lot of their holdings and rushing to stable coin, in a bid not to be liquidated.

Our own Hive token also bowed to the market forces and has been a bit stable with its trading range until yesterday when it took some steroids and did more than 44% at some point within a 24hour range, making it among the top gainers on many exchanges including Binance, as seen below.

The big question some are asking is - WHAT'S PUMPING HIVE? I will like to state that while that may be the view of many, I personally think that Hive Blockchain and its tokens are still very much undervalued for a token that has its history from steem blockchain having an ATH of over $8 even when a lot of the dapps were not there yet.

Considering the numerous activities on the Hive community and with it touching over $3 within the last 7months, I will say that yes, the Hive token is still very much undervalued.

While Hive continues its top gainers stand on the Binance exchange, no doubt a lot must have contributed to it.

Within the previous day, theycallmedan hosted a live Twitter chat, also shown on 3speak, last week I did an interview about blockchain based [social media websites]( https://hive.blog/hive/@emjoe/hive-blockchain-based-social-media-interview-was-a-success) for a research project for a university and a whole lot more from the hive community members. Hence these collective growth hacking attempts will no doubt give more exposure to the Hive community to the extent that nearest future, we may not be dragged down by BTC sharp movements.
