##### <center>The little things that make me happy</center>

With everything that's happened the last few months, I've had to become accustomed to a rapid change - *fast*. 

Moving, new job, new responsibilities, more travelling, waking up much earlier and so on. Most of these have been good changes, I've found a better routine and I've been early for work every day even though my travelling time is between 3 and 4 hours each day. The routine has settled into me more than vice versa. The one change that I really like is the *COFFEE* ! 

I became accustomed to drinking instant coffee because I didn't have a coffee machine and it seemed fine because I didn't have much to compare it to. I went out for a cappuccino every now and then, but that was as a treat. Now I get treated every morning because of that beautiful machine in the picture. 

My house mate is a coffee snob and proud to be called one. He wasn't happy with me drinking the dishwater gloop that I had become used to. He likes to buy real coffee and good coffee at that - beans, not powdered down chicory. 

I wake up before him so every morning he now gets his first cup of coffee in bed when I make myself a cup before heading out. It's the least I can do to say thank you for sharing the coffee snobbery with me and I think it's a good deal. If I get to sleep in on weekends, he returns the favour and brings me coffee in bed. It's the small things that count. All that I can say is that I don't miss the instant coffee much and when I have to have it at work, I don't mind, but that cup of coffee when I get home is the best part of my evening, something I look forward to while driving home. 

The elixir that gets my brain lubricated and working a bit better before a long day at the office, the sweet melody of caffeine that greets my lips when I get home. It's these things that make it all worthwhile.

It most definitely is and I can understand why people disregard instant once they have a machine. I think I'm also turning into a bit of a coffee snob lol.
