The journey towards God requires who lay aside every thing that can hinder or prove to be a burden in our walk. It is usually sin. It could be malice, jealously, backbiting etc. Nothing should be allowed to taint us before our Father in Heaven. We are to also seek face daily so we can gradually conform to his life. We can do nothing without Him.
