'DeFi-Powered' Games with Ethereum - Adding another layer of complexity.

Since I can't call my challenge a 'hodling' & 'only-bitcoin' one, I'm being forced to change the name of the old 'Bitcoin Hodling Challenge'. 

I'm still not sure of what will be the 'final' version (If there's one ever, after all, I'm doing this for my personal chilling & enrichment).

Feel welcome to sit & read, I've had a couple more ideas to keep exploiting those high earning fields in the Binance Smart Chain. You'll probably love it [yes @dalz, I'm referring to you ;) ]

First the snapshots of rigour. I've added 100$ in ETH which keeps stacking nicely.

Since the switch from BTC to ETH at 1200$ I'm enjoying a nice profit as ETH is again at ATH's... The last ATH of the portfolio was at ~7K$, so I'm enjoying 500$  of profit in the 'main stack' holding of the portfolio.

Let's show the VenusScan snapshot:

As you can see I'm borrowing 2500 VAI (Venus Stablecoin) and depositing them into the Venus Vault with a 30-40% APY. Everything paid in Venus coin(XVS). Why? There's when the magic comes.

#### Updated Yield-Farming Strategy:

1) Supply ETH through Venus.
2) Mint VAI and lock them all into the Vault.
3) Take all XVS profits and lock them in high APY Pancakeswap farms (looking for +100% APY's)
4) Compound profits from Pancake farms through Beefy.

The diagram looks like this (and I'm loving it, feel free to copy me).

The strongest point from this strategy is that 100% of the minted VAI is locked into a vault producing a 30-40% profit. This makes this strategy very resilient because you're not 'risking' anything (you're still owning the 100% of the VAI and you're only playing with the pure profits). Which at this point start to be a very generous amount of ~5$ daily.

 Because of this, I feel free to invest into 'high risk farming pools' like the CAKE-BNB one, with over ~450% APY. It's like a BNB printing machine lol.

### Profit Summary

- ETH supplied into Venus producing a 8-10% APY
- Minted VAI producing a ~40% APY
-Pure profits allocated into BNB-CAKE + Beefy combo producing +450% APY

Currently the pure profits exceed the 150$/month mark. Which means a +25% APY of the OVERALL investment. (Jeez, love when number go up like this).

One thing's right, you know how to make money. I'd also say that the switch from BTC to ETH was inspired because BTC is seeing its dominance declining and it might be the time for alts to party like BTC. Some haven't even got to their previous ATHs.

I just started a snowballing and I'm keeping it rolling., but thx for the compliment nevertheless.

Regarding the switch, exactly, the next few months are for alts and ETH will be leading the expansion process.

You've been doing some amazing stuff with BSC. I do have some trust issues after what Binance did with Justin Sun. But have to admit these are solid use cases. It's amazing they are maintaining 30-40% APY. I guess people haven't fully realized the potential here and haven't started flocking in. Awesome news for early adopters!

Ethereum tentacles are everywhere. I think that it's 'too big to fail' in terms of critical mass. It already crossed that 'mass' of people a while ago.

Now it's only pushing and handling with scalability.

Regarding the Steem/Binance/Justin Dictator drama, I prefer to heal wounds fast and move on. If HIVE fails it won't be 'because of JS/CZ'. What happened should be considered as 'another bump in the road'. We can't stay in the mud licking our wounds eternally.

I read the posts from @dalz and ETH scaling looks like it'll take some time. I think  'too big to fail' part comes mainly from Dapps. No other platforms has so many great Dapps and developers working on them.

Yes. But history of how people have acted should be kept in mind. It doesn't hurt to be skeptical in this space. With enough Dapps and active community I can't see how Hive will fail. It's more about how far Hive can move forward and get marketshare :)

BSC farms have been amazingly generous :) Also the no fees aspect allows a lot more transactions and playing around.

I see what you did here, having eth and a stable coin as a backbone and the  playing around with the profits.

I love the beefy app .... it does the hard job for me, finding good farms.

I have allocated some amount of degen fund and play with extremely high risk farms. Drugs and fuel didn't do well, but I'm now in the BDO pool and that has done well .... already paid the initial investment.3% per day ... lol

As far for the cake-bnb pool I look at that one as medium risk, just after the stable coins :)

I'm looking right now at the SBDO pool and playing around with the 'degen fund' which the VAI vault is generating.

3,4% daily is nuts, I don't give a f*ck if it dips a 20% I'm recovering that in 5 days xd

I'm out of drugs since his founder started bitching about binance, red flag in my eyes. Cake played extremely well their cards.

The process just feels very complicated to me ( being mainly a creative ). For now, I'll go for easier ways to increase my portfolio ( with lower interest ). In fact, I'm about to give Celsius a serious try, after giving up on it months ago without really trying.

Please, don't use Celsius, you're going to pay a lot of fees JUST to deposit/withdraw. They alone are going to eat all your potential % profits.
