Yet for the vast majority of us who aren't born into wealth we experience this reality at one point or the other. At that point it is really easy to look outward and find figures to blame. Yet should we decided to do the opposite, we are capable of figuring out some important financial lessons that will last a lifetime. I don't think we have felt as entitled at anytime in human history than what we witness in society today. We live in quite interesting times, where people can basically place demands on another's assets without contributing, and sometimes get away with those said assets. That used to be the exclusive of royalty and conquerors of the past, now it is open to more or less everyone. Depending on where you live, this mindset can get really entrenched. Ironically it is the societies where the most have been given that place more demands. Those who have far less have perhaps gotten used to figuring things out by themselves and are skeptical in the placement of demands, perhaps weary of being disappointed. It is interesting because this mindset perhaps forges some of our economic ideologies that we hold on to for life. It can also greatly affect our personal finance positions and the decisions we take per time. Some people feel that more should be handed over to them simply because they have less, while others who realize nothing is ever truly free are relentless in their drive to get more. I think we need to look at this perspective from an impact perspective. If you take an asset for instance and share it equally, then you give away the incentive people have to develop and improve on the asset. What's more, people become lazy and complacent and eventually the pie gets smaller even though the slice remains the same for everyone. Take Hive as an example. If we all earned the same from content creation for instance regardless of effort and quality, then there would be absolutely no reason for anyone to push hard. Incentives have always been a great way to develop not just personally, but also our environments. # Conclusion Striving and working for every bit that you own might sound harsh and selfish, but it is the most workable plan out there. What's more, we suddenly realize that a willingness to push things by ourselves compels others to support us and fast-track the fulfillment of our goals and desires. Any true functioning society has to be built on a system of work and effort, as I feel that for us humans a system that rewards docility will only make us miserable. My own personal financial challenges have prompted me to take my own personal development pathway a lot more seriously. Waiting for a miracle has never been my thing, even though I believe in.

> Striving and working for every bit that you own might sound harsh and selfish, but it is the most workable plan out there. Naa. I actually don't think it sounds, or is even harsh and selfish. Anybody who thinks that is probably lazy and/or wrongly entitled. All fingers aren't equal, so lucky those who were born with silver spoons. The rest of us better work or starve.
