Muy buenas, gente de Hive. Hoy me siento nostálgico. He estado recordando muchas cosas, todo gracias a una iniciativa que he visto por allí en esta comunidad. Comenzamos fuerte con unos de mis artistas favoritos, que casi siempre está en mis posts de esta naturaleza. [Keaton Henson](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keaton_Henson), cantautor inglés de folk, narra en esta canción, un escenario en el que te encuentres emparejado con alguien a quien quieres, que te gusta, a quien amas, pero de quien no estás enamorado. La canción se llama "Mintiéndote", porque presenta el concepto de estar con alguien a quien no amas realmente. Su voz es tan frágil como de costumbre y la instrumentación es delicada, llevado por una guitarra y voces secundarias haciendo atmósfera. Una canción bastante triste, que tantas tiene Keaton.

Soko representa una adición interesante a esta lista, ya que Keaton Henson y ella tuvieron una relación, de la cual nacieron muchas de las obras de Keaton y algunas de Soko. Esta canción, de tono agridulce, en ocasiones hasta juguetón, habla sobre la inmortalidad que tiene el primer amor en las personas. Sobre cómo por más que pase el tiempo, el primer amor sigue presente, haya sido esta una relación bonita o no. Narra como Soko vuelve a ver a la persona que amó y como ver sus cambios la afectan. Una canción bastante agridulce y una de las mejores de esta artista.

Probablemente la canción más negativa de esta lista, [flatsound](https://www.flatsound.org), un cantante norteamericano, nos muestra esta canción en la cual parece querer con todas sus fuerzas olvidar a alguien. En la letra se dirige a esa persona de manera resentida, como si la culpase por algo, a la par que se culpa a sí mismo por haber arruinado las cosas. La canción puede hacerse pesada, ya que al inicio, esta es delicada y melancólica, pero conforme va llegando al final, flatsound comienza a gritar y el instrumental se vuelve más fuerte, convirtiéndose más en la clase de tristeza que quema y de la que quieres zafarte.

Otra de mis artistas favoritas entra en esta lista, en este caso, [Julien Baker](https://julienbaker.com), una cantante y compositora norteamericana centrada en el rock alternativo y el [slowcore](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slowcore). Julien es también una artista cuya música gira en torno a temas melancólicos, es un tema que me llama mucho la atención y casi siempre conecta conmigo. En el caso de Appointments, esta es una canción sobre terminar una relación debido a que una de las partes sufre de problemas mentales o emocionales y la otra parte no es capaz de lidiar con esto. La canción refleja muy bien la impotencia de ser incapaz de lidiar con tus propias emociones y expresarte y a la par lograr ser la persona que tu pareja quiere que seas. La incapacidad de llenar la expectativas de la persona que amas y sentirte decepcionante, y por consiguiente, la inevitable separación que conlleva el estar en una relación teniendo una salud emocional frágil. Una canción bastante fuerte y cuyas reflexiones se pueden reflejar en muchos de nosotros.

Con creces, la canción más popular de esta lista y definitivamente una de las canciones sobre rompimientos amorosos más populares que existen. [Gotye](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotye) es un cantante australiano que por allá por el 2011-2012, lanzó esta canción en colaboración con [Kimbra](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimbra), la canción explotó en fama de una manera increíble. Esta canción estuvo en todas partes durante aquellos tiempos y se convirtió en una canción sumamente emblemática no solo por su temática y lo fácil que es conectar con ella, si no por su curioso sonido. La canción trata sobre romper una relación y sentirte mal al respecto, pero sentirte aún peor por ver que la otra persona está lidiando con el rompimiento como si nada. El sonido de la canción es muy curioso, la melodía principal es llevada por un xilófono, la instrumentación es minimalista de momentos y lleva arreglos bastante singulares y fuera de lo común en la música popular de aquellos tiempos. Por eso, esta canción fue una gran oveja negra en su tiempo. En definitiva una de las mejores canciones de esta temática y también una de las más interesantes de escuchar.

For that reason, this song was a great black sheep in its time. Definitely one of the best songs of this theme and also one of the most interesting to listen to.
