The human brain loves a challenge, but this will be appreciated if it is within an optimal zone of difficulty. Financial freedom has been a major problem many of us has faced and there are still many experiencing this problem trying to find way out. Recognizing the position I was then before I found Crypto and its technology (Blockchain) was an illumination that lighting my way and I am still growing in it.  ### How Has Crypto and Blockchain Technology Changed My Personal Finance Life? My crypto journey began in 2017 after I was scammed with over $3,500 on a Ponzi scheme named Richmond Berk (Claimed Online Real Estate platform with Bitcoin cloud mining program). I was down financially because I resigned from my physical job to start online fulltime work due to return from my bitcoin cloud mining program. **How did I came out of this mess, you ask?** With no job but internet literate, I began to study how to make money from home and I was very careful this time. Within studies, YouTubes videos, I got to understand whats bitcoin, blockchain, crypto exchange and many more information about the new money in town (digital currency), although I stumbled upon Bitcoin in 2010 when I was in school I did not pay attention. The money is gone, no job, and I'm looking for how to feed within the mind of seeking how to be free financially. **Here are the problems I highlighted:** How do I pay for bills without stress? How do I feed myself and my family without stress? How do I help others and position them well to come out of this bondage, because I don't see any positive drive from the federal government to position any youth right on the path of financial freedom? **And it comes to pass...** Remembered I said, I know how to use the internet to get information, so, I started with writeups on a paid platform to solve problems for people based on my expertise and I was paid in crypto. During this period, I discovered so many platforms I can make transactions without visiting my local bank and with ease, I'm enjoying my crypto movement. Stumbled upon blockchain platform (where I can write and get paid) activated my drive and here comes another skill (graphic design). I was forced to upgrade myself in the creation of banner, cover image, and many others, though I started with photo editing and this brought in more reward for me. My contribution to the crypto ecosystem has connected me with developers, project managers, project owners, and this launched in some many business support with incentives that wipe away finance problem I had in time past. Crypto and blockchain technology builds my social networks, communication skill, financial stature, mental reasoning and many more.....  Don't forget this **"Measure Your Progress"** One thing that helps my growth in this journey is Recognition of how to stay motivated to reach the goal by trying to achieve that perfect blend of hard work with smart work, brought in happiness. **Great!!!** In 2017 I started as a beginner using my resources to learn what will position me right, but in 2020, I have online classes with different groups and communities that generate me profit/incentives (mentally, monetary, and networking)... **Financial freedom.** In 2017, I was looking for how to pay bills within stress, but in 2020, I pay the bill by login into my binance account or other crypto exchange I'm using to exchange my crypto to fiat and complete my bill within few seconds. In 2017, I was without the knowledge of the decentralized system, but in 2020, I'm presently the Africa lead for MANTRA DAO, Competent Ambassador for Darwinia, recognized work group member for Edgeware, Africa lead for Uptrennd social platform to mention but few... Indeed crypto and blockchain technology as changing my status and I am still growing in it. Now, I already have the next plan of action on this journey. Thanks to @theycallmedan for this opportunity to throwback and appreciate the step of faith and action into crypto space. Crypto is the future of money and blockchain is pathing the way.
