The impact of technology has spread through every aspect of life, it has affected movement, eating habit and even our relationships, the effect of technology on our personal lives increases constantly. The world that was initially filled with people who had to meet to establish some sort of relationships, is now filled with avenues for lovers to meet over the internet and discuss.

A good number of humans have embraced technology, but we still have some people who will never support technological advancement based on the negative history they have about it. I never believed there was a person who in this age does not use social media handles until I heard the story of a man, I argued with my friend about how impossible it was to live without any form of social interaction in this age and time, until I heard the reason he had for not using a social media handle. He was newly married and just after two months into their marriage, his wife left him for the new lover she found on Facebook, his hatred was not just for his wife action, he also developed hatred for anything that had to do with social media.

### Positive effect of technology on relationships.
With technology, stronger bonds are developed, if not for the technology of social media platforms, some marriages would not be existing, some lovers will not even meet each other in the first place. Social media technology has also improved the level of intimacy between lovers especially those who are engaged in long distance relationships.

With technology, it is possible for us to build work connections with people we have not physically seen. With technological improvement such as freelance, hiring workers and getting jobs delivered at ease is now made possible with a higher level of interaction.
With the influence of social media, we have the ability to get proper targets on everyday achievement with a constant reminder on how to achieve those targets.

### Downsides of technology on relationships.
The effect of technology on human relationship is numerous but it definitely comes with its downsides as well:
There are people who get so carried away with the internet that they have no time for their loved ones, marriages have failed and children have felt unloved as a result of this act. The values that should be instilled in children are failing gradually, children now greet their parents on social media and they feel there is no need for physical courtesy any more. 

There are several videos where people are seen walking into accidents as a result of being carried away by chats, some people do not have any other life outside the confinement of social media as everything they do and live for is just around it.
