As many know, Asians, especially the Chinese, are great traders and very good entrepreneurs, they have in their genetics, so to speak, that innovative spark that encourages them to detect the absence of suppliers in a certain area and generate something striking to fill that empty space, well, that's precisely my friend Jesus David, a born entrepreneur.

He is the son of Chinese immigrants who settled in Venezuela many years ago, Jesus is the youngest of numerous siblings, having the joy of being born in our country and studying at the university of food engineering, which gave him the basis and knowledge to implement their businesses, as he has told me in the many evenings we have talked, while enjoying a dessert in one of his businesses.

His work as an entrepreneur began many years ago, when he inherited from his father the only butcher shop that existed in an urban area, where they were just beginning to build large buildings that today make up a fairly large and consolidated urbanization, in this space there is a little productive shopping center with most of the stores closed, as they could not adapt to the economic crisis and were going bankrupt one after another, leaving a significant number of empty premises.



>Como muchos saben, los asiáticos, especialmente los Chinos, son grandes comerciantes y muy buenos emprendedores, tienen en su genética, por decirlo de alguna manera, esa chispa innovadora que los alienta a detectar las ausencias de proveedores en determinada área y generar algo llamativo para ocupar ese espacio vacío, bueno, así es precisamente mi amigo Jesús David, un emprendedor nato.
Él es hijo de emigrantes Chinos que se radicaron en Venezuela hace muchísimos años, Jesús es el más pequeño de varios hermanos, teniendo la dicha de nacer en nuestro país y estudiar en la universidad la carrera de ingeniería de alimentos, lo que le dio las bases y conocimientos para implantar sus comercios, según me ha contado en las muchísimas tardes en las que hemos hablado, mientras disfruto de algún postre en uno de sus negocios.
Su trabajo como emprendedor comenzó hace muchos años, cuando heredó de su padre la única carnicería que existía en una zona urbana, donde apenas comenzaban a construirse grandes edificios que hoy conforman una urbanización bastante grande y consolidada, en este espacio existe un centro comercial poco productivo con la mayoría de los comercios  cerrados, ya que no pudieron adaptarse a la crisis económica y fueron quebrando uno detrás de otro, dejando un número importante de locales vacíos.

But as the popular saying goes, where some see problems, others see opportunities, that is how, while other traders emigrated in the hardest part of the shortage a couple of years ago, Jesus David did the opposite, taking advantage of business opportunities where perhaps no one else saw it or believed they could be profitable, surely it was very hard to move forward against adversity, but he has succeeded. In particular, at my young age, I see him as an example to follow, because he is a great fighter in the world of business entrepreneurship.

Firstly, we must recognize that he skillfully managed to keep the butcher's shop afloat, which is already a great action, but then he was not satisfied with that and acquired an empty store that was next door, to expand the commercial space and add a kind of small market, where he sells staple products and desserts.

With that he did very well and somehow balanced his finances, when things improved, then he decided to take the next step using the infrastructure he already had, so he began to manufacture and sell breads, with a limited variety, of course, but the essential that was missing in the urbanization, french bread and sweet breads, which has an added value, because it is the only business that is open until late at night, where people returning from work can stock up.



>Pero como dice el dicho popular, donde algunos ven problemas, otros ven oportunidades, así fue como, mientras otros comerciantes emigraban en la parte más dura de la escasez hace un par de años, Jesús David hizo todo lo contrario, aprovechando oportunidades de negocio donde quizás nadie más la veía o creía que podían ser rentables, seguramente fue muy duro avanzar contra las adversidades, pero él lo ha conseguido. En lo particular, a mi corta edad, lo veo como un ejemplo a seguir, porque es un gran luchador en el mundo del emprendimiento comercial.
Primero hay que reconocer que hábilmente logró mantener a flote la carnicería, lo que ya es una gran acción, pero luego no se conformó con eso y adquirió un local vacío que estaba al lado, para ampliar el espacio comercial y sumar una especie de pequeño mercado, donde se vende productos de primera necesidad y postres.
Con eso le fue muy bien y de alguna forma equilibró sus finanzas, cuando las cosas mejoraron, entonces se decidió a dar el siguiente paso utilizando la infraestructura que ya tenía, así empezó a fabricar y vender panes, con una variedad limitada, claro está, pero lo esencial que hacía falta en la urbanización, pan canilla y panes dulces, cosa que tiene un valor agregado, porque es el único comercio que abre hasta altas horas de la noche, donde las personas que regresan de trabajar pueden abastecerse.

In this world of opportunities, where the ability of the good entrepreneur plays an important role, a new need arose that perhaps many overlooked, because in the community there were only sales of fruits, vegetables, and greens on Fridays, when a truck from the Andes came to offer an agricultural fair, but that, besides being inconsistent, limited the people who work outside the community and return late.

For example, if you did not buy your supplies on Friday when the truck came, and that is if it really came, because it is often missing, then you had to wait until next week to be able to buy, or you had to travel to Caracas to cover your needs, something totally absurd.




>En ese mundo de oportunidades, donde la habilidad del buen emprendedor juega un papel importante, surgió una nueva necesidad que tal vez muchos pasaron por alto, pues en la comunidad solo había ventas de frutas, verduras y hortalizas los días viernes, cuando venía un camión de los Andes a ofrecer una feria agrícola, pero eso además de inconstante, limitaba a las personas que trabajan fuera de la comunidad y regresan tarde.
Por ejemplo, si no comprabas tu abastecimiento el viernes cuando vino el camión y eso si es que realmente vino, porque falta muchas veces, entonces debías esperar hasta la próxima semana para poder comprar o tenías que viajar hasta Caracas para poder cubrir tus necesidades, algo totalmente absurdo.

In the mall, there was a store available that they were renting at a low price because it had been closed for some time, so my friend made a negotiation with the owner, and he came up with the idea of creating his venture called the Fruticeria, a great and assorted commerce that is much more than a simple fruit store, because there you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and greens with prices as good as those of the Friday truck, having also available many ingredients to complete your meals like: marinades; dressings; condiments; spices and for vegans and fitness people, they also have available a whole range of nuts and diet foods.

But entrepreneurship and innovation are not only there, they also have an area where they sell bakery products and everything you need to make sweets, even those for special diets without gluten, very important things that fill, without a doubt, a commercial space that was sorely lacking in this community.




>En el centro comercial, existía un local disponible que estaban alquilando a un precio bajo porque tenía tiempo cerrado, así que mi amigo hizo una negociación con el dueño y se le ocurrió crear su emprendimiento llamado La Fruticeria, un comercio genial y surtido que es mucho más que una simple frutería, porque allí puedes comprar frutas, verduras y hortalizas frescas con precios tan buenos como los del camión de los viernes, teniendo además disponible muchos ingredientes para completar tus comidas como: adobos; aliños; condimentos; especias y para las personas veganas y fitness, también tienen disponible toda una gama de frutos secos y alimentos de dieta.
Pero el emprendimiento y la innovación no quedan allí solamente, también tiene un área donde venden productos de repostería y todo lo necesario para fabricar dulces, incluso aquellos para dietas especiales sin gluten, cosas muy importantes que llenan sin lugar a dudas, un espacio comercial que hacía mucha falta en esta comunidad.

Another great advantage that this business initiative has, is that it is closely linked to the digital world, people that you no longer even have to go personally to buy the products, because you can place your order online, through a special group that they have in mobile applications and pick it up later, or simply ask them to take it to the door of the house, this is all an added value that enhances the interaction with the trade.

In addition, I hope that this review of their products and services will help people to discover how fantastic this store is through social networks and internet search engines.




>Otra gran ventaja que tiene esta iniciativa empresarial, es que está muy ligada al mundo digital, pueblo que ya ni siquiera tienes que ir personalmente a comprar los productos, porque puedes hacer tu pedido online, por un grupo especial que tienen en aplicaciones móviles y retirarlo después,  o simplemente pedir que te lo lleven hasta la puerta de la casa, esto es todo un valor agregado que potencia la interacción con el comercio.
