We tried to build latest EOSIO on **ubuntu 16.04-LTS** virtual machine. But failed even after several attempts... It looked like there was some problem in EOSIO code. We could not get clear picture, but, reported the bug in github as issue.

Someone fixed the problem, but, he was not sure if it will still fix the issue. Two files were updated....

Finally, after updating the source code, we **succeeded** with our build of latest EOSIO sw. A big thanks to **brianphobos** who also pointed out to the same problem and gave us some good hints. If you also got into same sitution, then, re-build as follows:

rm -rf build/
git pull
git submodule init
git submodule update
./eosio_build.sh
