I sent 1 ETH to that address with metamask. The transaction was confirmed but on metamask it says "rejected" and I'm still missing 1 ETH.

I didn't realize I would need some eth the generate an eos key so I'm just waiting for the eth network to process sending some more from my other wallet to my metamask wallet. They earned 46.4K eth so far at the time of this post.

Lol, scammers always trying to scam...

During the SONM ico, a scammer made off will 1k ETH using this method, so I would assume others will be trying there luck today

I think its best to wait until EOS hits the markets (from 1st July). and then buy if the market value dips.

That is kind of expected as similar attacks were observed in other big ICOs. I was just wondering *how soon* - man that's pretty fast!

A "necessary evil" in my opinion. The best way to prove the network/model is secure and does work well if such attacks/crisis happens.

FOMO definitely not necessary with EOS, pleeenty of time to invest.
 (BTW: if ETH will still go down one can get EOS even cheaper ;-)
