First Importing an Image,very easy just click on Image>select image>import as a layer.
To create vector art, you must first master
the Pen tool.This can be found on the tools option

It basically works by dotting out the edges of your drawing locking it and drawing through.

A guide to understanding Layers
To create a vector you must involve the use of layers, when a layer is ontop of another all jobs done appear above,while the layers beneath all vectorizing appears to be hiding under the layer above it.

Create a layer above the imported image by clicking the plus sign this will be where all works will be done so it appears ontop of the layer(image) beneath.
The Toolbar below consist of brush selections,pen size,eraser, color selection and opacity

Color palette selection, here you also find the eyedropper tool used in picking colors out of image

Export a finished work by clicking on the export option and select the png format and tick background and save
