Si supieran amados, cada día tener pareja es un milagro. Cada día que pasa, tener un amor, alguien que te ame y que tú ames es un milagro y no sé por qué, no sé por qué ahora todo es tan complicado pero, la gente le hecha la culpa a la tecnología y las redes sociales, es una paradoja porque la tecnología y las redes sociales se crearon para ayudarnos y unirnos, no para separarnos... A veces pasan cosas que no le vemos sentido. Amarse para soltarse, amarse para separarse. mientras tanto amados, vamos a analizar estas bellas "oldies" vamos a suspirar un ratico sentaditos escuchando dulces melodías cantadas al amor un día.

La Banda de rock Chicaco en 1982 lanzó su segundo éxito  Hard To Say I'm Sorry primer sencillo de su álbum Chicago 16, es una power ballad super romántica cuya melodía Soft rock con cierto toque orquestal, sumado a la voz del cantante Peter Cetera es la cereza del pastel, sin mencionar que la letra de la canción la hace perfecta, no en vano ganó tantos premios y se mantuvo por semanas como numero uno en la Billboard, emisoras de radio y programas musicales.

Analizando la letra, "todos necesitamos tiempo" Tiempo para asimilar las cosas, el tiempo puede ser amigo y verdugo, puede fortalecer una relación o extinguirla. Pero... Como bien dice mi titulo: el amor que tanto esperabas llega para que digas: Lo siento pero no puedo... Es demasiado doloroso y crudo por demás. Es como decirle al genio de la botella: -Concédeme este deseo, pediste amor, pero viene con un problema serio o de pronto tienes un problema serio... ¿Será porque no era el momento? Hay cosas difíciles de entender acerca del amor. Pero feliz de aquel que lo tiene y puede disfrutarlo sin problemas ¿Existirá?

Pasan cosas en la relación o llega la persona a ti (como mi caso) y tienes que decirle como la letra de esta canción: "Abrázame ahora, es difícil para mí decir: Lo siento" lo lindo de la canción es que al final parece dejar una promesa "volveré" Pero es obvio que estamos hablando de una relación que terminó, solo queda la tristeza, la melancolía y de paso: El remordimiento de conciencia por tanta cobardía.

The Commodores, todavía siguen siendo un banda activa de R&B, soul, funky música disco, sin embargo no los conozco mucho excepto este éxito musical que traigo aquí "Easy" en la voz de Lionel Richie que luego decidió abandonar el grupo e iniciar su carrera como músico solista independiente el cual le fue muy bien gracias a que continuó el estilo musical power ballad y slow rock, músicas que todos queríamos escuchar para enamorarnos o desenamorarnos. Ignoro la causa del por qué de su retiro de la banda, pero supongo que por lo que siempre pasa con los solistas de cualquier agrupación.

"Easy" fue publicada en 1977, pertenece al álbum homónimo, es una power ballar - Soft rock la cual fue escrita por el mismo Lionel Richie, su melodía en seguida nos hace sentir ese vacío en el pecho, ese sentimiento de perdida, de ruptura en el amor, de separaciones, la letra nos habla de alguien que no puede soportar el dolor de una separación, el dolor es tan fuerte que se siente encadenado a él y prácticamente suplica que quiere liberarse, es insoportable... Lo sé... Yo lo viví una vez ¿Alguien más se identifica? Dice muy bien de los dientes para afuera "Estoy tranquilo" Y aporreantemente tranquilo pero por dentro... Estoy deshecho.

A veces una relación comienza con un juego, un jugueteo que luego se va poniendo algo serio. En el sentido de la letra de la canción habla de alguien que de una broma que pretendió hacer reír a las personas, termino siendo una mala broma sobre sí mismo que fue tan fea que hizo llorar a todos y aun en estos días puede hacernos sentir un nudo en la garganta, la letra de esta canción es interpretada por Robin Hugh y se convirtió en un éxito de la banda Bee Gees pese a que estábamos acostumbrados a su música disco y la voz del solista barry Alan, fue algo sorprendente después de hacernos bailar en las disco, ahora nos presentaba una power ballad con  una melodía y letra sencilla pero muy sentimental.

Sucede en la vida real como encontramos en la letra de esta canción que a veces para suavizar una discusión en una relación, hacemos una broma de nosotros mismos y terminamos todos llorando pues no es nada gracioso si quiera burlarse de haber cometido un error o burlarse para echarse la culpa, esto no soluciona el error ni calma el dolor.

Started A Joke es un sencillo de la banda Bee Gees, una power ballad publicada en el año 1968 de su álbum Idea, el cual fue un sencillo muy exitoso, manteniendo al grupo como los número uno de finales de los 60's y comienzos de los 70's.
