¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo una nueva entrega de esta sección que inicié donde les hablo de aquellas películas que puedo ver una y otra vez sin cansarme. Ahora es el turno de ***El diablo viste a la moda*** o, en algunos lados, ***El diablo viste de Prada***.

## <center>**Trama - Plot**</center>

**Andrea Sachs** (Anne Hathaway) es una periodista amateur que está intentando abrirse camino en su carrera y cae en las manos de **Miranda Priestly** (Meryl Streep), una persona muy prestigiosa y respetada en el mundo de la moda, ya que es la jefa de la revista ***Runway***. Andy se convierte en su asistente, y ahí empieza una especie de calvario, ya que esta la somete a constantes demandas y exigencias que hasta parece que lo hace con el propósito de que se canse y se vaya. Pero Andy es perseverante y con la ayuda de **Emily** (Emily Blunt), la primera asistente de Miranda, y con **Nigel** (Stanley Tucci), el director de arte de la revista, empezará a vestirse a la altura y aprender sobre el mundo de la moda del que tenía cero conocimientos.

>**Andrea Sachs** (Anne Hathaway) is an amateur journalist who is trying to make her way in her career and falls into the hands of **Miranda Priestly** (Meryl Streep), a very prestigious and respected person in the fashion world, as she is the head of the magazine ***Runway***. Sin embargo, la carga es pesada ya que Miranda es muy exigente y la solicita en todo momento. Esto hace que se recienta la relación de Andy con su novio, **Nate** (Adrian Grenier), y sus amigos. 
Pero al mismo tiempo su esfuerzo da frutos porque Miranda la empieza a reconocer y cada vez le va a ir mejor. Tanto que cuando es la semana de la moda en París, uno de los eventos más esperados en este ámbito y por el que Emily se viene preparando hace mucho, Miranda decide llevar a Andy en su lugar.

But at the same time her efforts pay off because Miranda begins to recognize her and she is doing better and better. So much so that when it's fashion week in Paris, one of the most anticipated events in this field and for which Emily has been preparing for a long time, Miranda decides to take Andy instead.

Andy aprovecha la oportunidad, pero su relación con Nate se termina ya que este le recrimina el porqué ahora le resulta tan importante el mundo de la moda y por haber aceptado el lugar de su compañera Emily. Así que viaja sin ataduras, allá se va a enterar de algunos secretos y va a ver la verdad de la persona en la que se está convirtiendo, sabiendo que no era el camino que quería seguir en primer lugar. 
¿Pero seguirá adelante o abandonará todo lo que cosechó hasta ahora? 

>Andy seizes the opportunity, but his relationship with Nate ends as Nate berates him for why the fashion world is so important to him now and for taking the place of his partner Emily. So she travels untethered, there she's going to learn some secrets and see the truth of the person she's becoming, knowing it wasn't the path she wanted to follow in the first place.

Los que vieron está película ya saben la respuesta. Pero me gusta guardar el suspenso para los que no.

## <center>**Mi opinión - My opinion**</center>

Esta es una película que seguro ya habrán visto tanto como yo. ¿Así que qué se puede decir que no se sepa ya? 
Además, cuenta con actores increíbles, seguro que a los más jóvenes les habrá abierto varias puertas trabajar en ella.

>This is a movie that I'm sure you've already seen as much as I have, so what can I say that you don't already know? 
Plus, it has amazing actors, I'm sure the younger ones will have had several doors opened for them to work on it.

Suelo simpatizar con Andy, puedo entenderla, si bien no es el camino que quería seguir al principio, fue uno que le abrió otras puertas. A veces es necesario transitarlos. De todos modos era su trabajo y por más que no conociera ni le interesará la moda se esforzó por cambiar eso y encajar. 
Me puedo ver un poco en ella. Ese poder de adaptarse a las circunstancias y sacarles el máximo provecho.

>I tend to sympathize with Andy, I can understand her, even if it is not the path she wanted to follow at the beginning, it was one that opened other doors for her. Sometimes it is necessary to go through them. Anyway it was her job and as much as she didn't know or care about fashion she made an effort to change that and fit in. 
I can see myself in her a little bit. That power to adapt to circumstances and make the most of them.

También me gusta que muestre el lado b de las personas exitosas, volviendo a lo mismo: podes dar cierta imagen pero por dentro es muy diferente.

Siempre me hace reír que cada tanto en Twitter sale la discusión de quién era el verdadero villano de esta historia, si Miranda o Nate. No creo que haya villanos aquí. Solo personajes tratando de hacer lo mejor que pueden en situaciones que los exceden. Cada uno tenía su punto de vista. Si bien podemos o no compartir. Miranda se veía reflejada en Andy y pienso que por eso le exigía más que a cualquiera porque sabía que podía hacerlo. Aunque al final haya dicho que la decepcionó, sabemos que no fue así. También la ayudo a crecer y le dio esa ansiada experiencia. 

>It always makes me laugh when every now and then on Twitter the discussion comes up as to who was the real villain in this story, Miranda or Nate. I don't think there are villains here. Just characters trying to do the best they can in situations that exceed them. Everyone had their own point of view. While we may or may not share. Miranda saw herself reflected in Andy and I think that's why she demanded more from him than anyone else because she knew she could do it. Even if she said at the end that he let her down, we know that wasn't the case. He also helped her grow and gave her that longed-for experience.

Nate estaba dolido porque su novia de repente estaba más pendiente de su trabajo que de su vida y la veía cambiar poco a poco. Aunque esto es parte del crecimiento. No lo justifico porque sí siento que tuvo actitudes injustas con Andy, pero debieron hablarse al respecto. También puede ser cansador que tu pareja salga corriendo todo el tiempo para atender cosas del trabajo. Aunque de todos modos no vi una gran química entre estos personajes o sus actores, así que su desenlace no me afecto. 

>Nate was hurt that his girlfriend was suddenly more about her work than her life and he was watching her change little by little. This is part of growing up though. I don't justify it because I do feel he had unfair attitudes towards Andy, but they should have talked to each other about it. It can also be tiring to have your partner running off all the time to attend to work stuff. Although I didn't see great chemistry between these characters or their actors anyway, so their denouement didn't affect me.

Me gustaría leer el libro para ver cómo está desarrollado. Es un gran pendiente desde hace unos años. Pero bueno, como película me parece entretenida y cautivadora para seguir viéndola siempre que la encuentre. Cuando paso mucho sin verla la extraño y voy buscándola por los canales. Es de esas películas que me gustan verlas en cable. Cuando la veo me resetea un poco el día. 

>I would like to read the book to see how it is developed. It's been a big pending for a few years now. But well, as a movie I find it entertaining and captivating to keep watching it whenever I can find it. When I go too long without watching it I miss it and go looking for it through the channels. It's one of those movies that I like to watch on cable. When I see it, it resets my day a little bit.
