Today it's a historical day in crypto, but then again, which day isn't? We're making history every day, something happens every day that marks a new beginning in the crypto world and weakens the old and obsolete financial system. This is how it should be, one step at a time. 

## Looking Back

Today is a historical day only for me as this is the level at which I tried out the BTC ATM in February this year and bought some for long term holding that was sent to my cold storage. I remember what a good opportunity it seemed back then as BTC was retracing from $58K. Percentage wise, that is a 17% - 18% retracement. It wasn't the first time I bought BTC and obviously not the last either, but it was memorable as it was the first time I used the BTC ATM.

Was I the only one buying at that level? I bet millions saw an opportunity and took it. 

At that point not many would have thought we could go as low as $30k to retest those levels. Gareth Soloway said we could go that low and no one took him seriously as we tend to believe what and see what we want to see. 

Since then, BTC reached its ATH in April, then dipped to the $30K level in May and have been ranging between $31k and $41K. Now we're back at there we were in February and March, this year.  

Do I regret it? Not at all! Why would I? Long term holdings are accumulated over a long period, unless you're a billionaire who can afford to buy all at once, which I'm not. 

## The Beauty Of Learning How To Do It

As I stated above I'm not a billionaire, not even a millionaire, to hold a huge bag of BTC and other alts. Some may see this as a disadvantage. I don't. Money is good to have as it solves a lot of problems, but having the knowledge of how to make money worth even more to me. I've always thought if I know how to make money I'll be fine and so far my theory has not been invalidated. 

For me this is like a game that I enjoy so much. I've been learning constantly, trading and adding to my bags, dollar cost averaging. My bags are getting bigger day by day and I hope I can keep up this trend.  

## Buckle Up

Q1 was very interesting as far as crypto, especially BTC and ETH was concerned. Q2 was more than interesting, very bumpy if I may say. Q3 is not over yet, we still have a few weeks left, but it's not boring, no matter where you stand investment wise. Q4 will be even more interesting. Steve Nison said:

However, based on TA we can always have at least two scenarios and my job is to be prepared for whatever happens. I've seen some rough estimations for the end of the year, most saying BTC can reach $100k - $120k. I'm not saying I don't want to see that happen. I do! But till it happens, I'm enjoying the ride and deal with what the market gives me.

My goals are set for next year, so I need to make sure my projects will have the necessary funds by then. My bags are ready as you can see above, I just have to fill each one of them. 

By the way, by the time I publish this post, BTC is at $46,100 or so. Did I say it's a bumpy ride? I guess I did :)
