Great news from the UK. A new record has been set for the time the national grid worked without using any power generated from coal plants. The new record is 55 hours, so over two full days, of coal free power. In this period a lot of power was generated using wind turbines and solar panels. A huge investment in both of these energy sources has been done the previous years. The positive effects of that can now be seen. The Unites Kingdom is planning a coal exit in 2025.
