Coincidence? 4-5 days after each release a forking situation?

<p>I looked at the data (since we have <a href="https://aboutgridcoin.blogspot.de/2017/07/gridcoin-its-troublesome-superblocks-in.html">since &gt;4 weeks superblock troubles</a>) (link on <a href="https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@erkan/gridcoin-its-troublesome-superblocks-in-the-last-4-weeks">steemit</a>) and saw this:</p>

  <li>4-5 days after the new releases (3.5.9.4 and 3.5.9.2) we had a fork: (L) + (G)</li>
  <li>which we successfully coordinated in the IRC channels with the people being on the fork</li>
  <li>I also noticed, though: that the "self-healing" of the client in fork situations did NOT work :-( People were for <a href="https://github.com/gridcoin/Gridcoin-Research/issues/270#issuecomment-313914528">&gt;1h</a> and <a href="https://github.com/gridcoin/Gridcoin-Research/issues/270#issuecomment-317143375">&gt;3h</a> on the fork still.</li>

WTF @fuzzyvest . So now we have another whale downvoting content!?

There is nothing warranting a downvote in this post. The Gridcoin community acknowledge the forking situation and this post points out some patterns which could be useful in diagnosing that problem.

We have just had the fortnightly hangout, we do not have a Root Cause for this forking behaviour yet but the devs are working on it with the latest version of the wallet being released with a potential fix.

General thoughts were downvoting is ok for spam or malicious content but you seriously need to watch your vote weight when downvoting because you disagree with something. The way Steemit works mean that Whales can seriously wreck a post.

Edit: @officialfuzzy as I assume that this is your account/bot and the hangout took place in your mumble.

On a first glance, this erkan's post is borderline FUD again, implying that Gridcoin forks every week (which is of course absurd). It's always a bad idea to start a post with some nonsense from Reddit - if you check high-quality articles here on Steemit, you will see that other users spend quite a lot of effort on descriptive and attractive intros, since the first sentence always gets 99% of the attention.
 
Not to mention that complaining all the time about how other people vote is a waste of time at best. Every user can vote as he/she likes and is not obligated to provide any reasons or explanations. Time spent on complaining about downvotes is much better spent on improving the downvoted content.
