How to Make your own E-Liquid and Other Fun Items

In the event, you are going to vape you should learn to make your own liquids. You can ensure that you know what is in your vape juice and following this guide you can also save hundreds of dollars a year if not thousands.


Caution: REMEMBER NICOTINE IS A POISON


I will repeat that often as we proceed, today I will be making 600ml of E-Juice with a target 6ml nicotine.

This calculator makes the numbers easy.

Materials I am using are:
1.) 500 ml Erlenmeyer flask
2.) 100 ml Beaker
3.) Funnel
4.) Stir Plate
5.) Stir Magnet
6.) Flavor
7.) Calculator
8.) PROPYLENE GLYCOL USP FOOD GRADE <-- This give the throat hit
9.) PURE VEGETABLE GLYCERIN USP FOOD GRADE <-- This produces more "cloud"
10.) Purified Water


I recommend wearing seep proof gloves at all times

At this point it is all added to the mixing plate.

Now, most people don't understand that all of these items are food grade. This means if you do not add the nicotine, you have an unlimited assortment of flavored body massage oils. So even if you do not vape there is a lot of safe fun to be had with this mixture of items.

Nicotine is poisonous in large doses but quite good for the body otherwise, especially the memory. It is found in Nightshade vegetables. I think this is one of the main reasons healthy eating has negative effects on people trying to quit smoking as they are getting doses of nicotine in their food as they try to quit.

If you enjoy vaping as I do, try out making your own. I can make a year supply for the cost of 3 or 4 trips to the vape store. I also always know what is in mine as I make it, don't put random shit in your body if you can avoid it.

I make my own too. Though I don't ever make that much at a time. I usually make small batches of 15ml for tests to come up with new recipes and larger batches of 30 or 60ml for vaping. I've made larger batches than that in the past, but I've found they often stick around too long and can start to become oxidized. Better to have a bunch of different flavors around anyway. Then I can switch between flavors I like.

I have around 72 flavors that I can make as I used to sell them in my shop. After vaping since almost 2007 I have reduced my personal flavors down to two. This one which I vape all day and one other one that I will vape a tank or two of when my atomizer is dying. I used to switch flavors all the time but as I have fully regained my tastebuds I find only these two flavors enjoyable anymore. 

I don't ever make it longer than 2 months before I make a new batch, I'll dump old juice if there is any left.

I don't think I ever lost my tastebuds. Perhaps they were masked a little with smoking. Perhaps that's why I was always really picky with the tobacco I smoked. I often had to go to different shops to pick out a loose tobacco I liked. I always had a problem with most eliquids too and had to pretty much make my own to get ones that I liked that didn't break the bank. There were a few that I discovered that I liked, but I consider $20 for 15ml to be far too much.

I have a ton of recipes I make regularly and am always inventing new ones, occasionally just to avoid buying more of some flavor key in another recipe I really liked. :P

You type in the amount of your base nicotine. In my case it was 100mg, so I entered 100 into the base section and typed 6mg as my desired level and it tells the amount by ml to use.
