Estimado #Hiver, te has preguntado alguna vez: ¿cuál es el valor de #HIVE? Seguramente pensarás, bueno busco en [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/es/monedas/hive) o en [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-blockchain/) su valor de mercado expresado en USD, y conceptualmente tendrás mucha razón. Para bien o para mal, una ley social bastante establecida es que cada cual piensa según vive y no al revés. Lo invito a reflexionar al respecto, aún cuando las ideas que le expreso son válidas para casi todos los activos digitales o financieros hay aspectos muy particulares de #HIVE.

Recientemente he visto en una de las publicaciones: [TERRA LUNA ¿A DONDE SE FUE EL DINERO? (Polvo De Hadas)](https://youtu.be/meX2oeuZ_sM) del canal de Youtube de [MarcianoFinanzas](https://www.youtube.com/c/MarcianoFinanzas1) ideas bastante esclarecedoras, *lo invito a que lo vea, lo agradecerá luego*. Le resumo: **Todos los activos digitales son polvo de hadas**, esto haciendo referencia a que su valor es más mental que tangible, pues su valor se determina por las reglas de la oferta y la demanda, si un activo tiene un valor es porque sus usuarios están dispuestos a pagar el valor de referencia. Recordemos un suceso bastante peculiar como ejemplo cuando [Art Basel Miami: artista se come la banana pegada con cinta evaluada en $150.000 dólares](https://www.france24.com/es/20191209-art-basel-miami-artista-se-come-la-banana-pegada-con-cinta-avaluada-en-150-000-d%C3%B3lares), si tuvo ese precio es porque existió al menos un comprador capaz de pagar dicha cantidad y comerse el plátano más caro de la historia.

Pensemos las formas en que podemos adquirir un activo digital tradicional, se me ocurren estos:

1. Comprándolo en una red P2P o en un exchange con dinero Fiat.
1. Intercambiándolo por otro activo digital en un exchange, swap, DEX, trading.
1. Como préstamo de una plataforma DEFI.
1. En un Airdrop promocional.
1.  Como pago por un servicio prestado.
1. Como recompensa por participar en el minado, staking o farming.
1. Algunas criptos tienen un concepto adicional **UBI** (Renta Básica Universal), en la cual se distribuye cierta cantidad de tokens diariamente a sus  usuarios, en estos casos [GoodDollar](https://www.gooddollar.org/) y [UBI Tokens](https://www.proofofhumanity.id/). Este es un caso alternativo que puede interpretarse como un Airdrop diario. 

Criptos como #Hive, #Steem e incluso #BCH en [NoiseCash](https://noise.cash/) implementan  la obtención de tokens como recompensa al *"impacto social"* de los contenidos generados, lo que  añade un rasgo distintivo que les da personalidad propia.  Noten que he entrecomillado la expresión *"impacto social"*, pues cada plataforma establece una relación entre la remuneración y la interacción bastante inexacta, reflejo de ello es que hay contenido muy votado sin apenas remuneración, pocos votados muy remunerados, contenido digno de cualquier revista de nivel apenas visto, publicaciones de gatos o sin sentido muy remunerados. Y no es que no me gusten los gatos, **los adoro**, pero algo debe diferenciar la virtud de ser útil en comparación con cosas entretenidas poco útiles. 

Volvamos a la pregunta de esta publicación: ¿cuál es el valor de #HIVE? y observemos desde otro ángulo.

En el momento de escribir este post el precio de #HIVE según [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) es **0.529658** USD lo que representa según https://datosmacro.expansion.com:

No se si detectan el patrón, pero queda claro que para #Hivers de distintas geografías de manera muy tangible no significan lo mismo. Mientras que para algunos 1 #HIVE representa un simple café adicional para otros significa la oportunidad de mejorar sus vidas. 

No  cabe duda que #HIVE para muchos constituye una gran oportunidad de poner sus talentos a producir en todos los sentidos posibles. Por ello le pido que la próxima que valore un post tenga un poco de empatía, piense en los recursos que usó el autor, de sus posibilidades reales, del valor que le transmite, de su utilidad y oportunidad. Ello hará de todo el ecosistema de #HIVE un lugar más sano y [equitativo](https://fundacionadecco.org/azimut/diferencias-entre-equidad-igualdad-y-justicia-social/)[^2].

Dear #Hiver, have you ever wondered: what is the value of #HIVE? Surely you will think, well I look in [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/es/monedas/hive) or in [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-blockchain/) its value of market expressed in USD, and conceptually you will be very right. For better or for worse, a fairly established social law is that everyone thinks as they live and not the other way around. I invite you to reflect on this, even though the ideas I express are valid for almost all digital or financial assets, there are very particular aspects of #HIVE.

Recently I saw in one of the publications: [TERRA LUNA, WHERE DID THE MONEY GO? (Fairy Dust)](https://youtu.be/meX2oeuZ_sM) from the YouTube channel of [MarcianoFinanzas](https://www.youtube.com/c/MarcianoFinanzas1) quite enlightening ideas, *I invite you to see, you'll thank me later*. I summarize: **All digital assets are fairy dust**, this refers to the fact that their value is more mental than tangible since their value is determined by the rules of supply and demand, if an asset has a value it is because its users are willing to pay the reference value. Let us recall a rather peculiar event as an example when [Art Basel Miami: artist eats the banana stuck with tape valued at $150,000 dollars](https://www.france24.com/es/20191209-art-basel-miami-artista-se-come-la-banana-pegada-con-cinta-avaluada-en-150-000-d%C3%B3lares), if it had that price it is because there was at least one buyer capable of paying that amount and eating the most expensive banana of history.

Let's think about the ways in which we can acquire a traditional digital asset, these come to my mind:

1. Buying it on a P2P network or an exchange with Fiat money.
1. Exchanging it for another digital asset in an exchange, swap, DEX, trading.
1. As a loan from a DEFI platform.
1. In a promotional Airdrop.
1. As payment for a service.
1. As a reward for participating in mining, staking, or farming.
1. Some cryptos have an additional concept **UBI** (Universal Basic Income), in which a certain amount of tokens is distributed daily to its users, in these cases [GoodDollar](https://www.gooddollar.org/ ) and [UBI Tokens](https://www.proofofhumanity.id/). This is an alternative case that can be interpreted as a daily airdrop.

Cryptos such as #Hive, #Steem, and even #BCH in [NoiseCash](https://noise.cash/) implement the obtaining of tokens as a reward for the *"social impact"* of the generated content, which adds a distinctive feature that gives them their own personality. Note that I have enclosed the expression *"social impact"*, since each platform establishes a rather inaccurate relationship between remuneration and interaction, a reflection of this is that there is highly voted content with hardly any remuneration, few highly paid votes, content worthy of any barely seen level magazine, highly paid cat or nonsense publications. And it's not that I don't like cats, **I adore them**, but something must differentiate the virtue of being useful compared to not very useful entertaining things.

Let's go back to the question in this post: what is the value of #HIVE? And let's look at it from another angle.

At the time of writing this post the price of #HIVE according to [Coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) is **0.529658** USD which represents according to https://datosmacro. expansion.com:

I don't know if they detect the pattern, but it is clear that for #Hivers from different geographies in a very tangible way they do not mean the same thing. While for some 1 #HIVE represents a simple extra coffee, for others it means the opportunity to improve their lives.

There is no doubt that #HIVE for many is a great opportunity to put their talents to work in every way possible. That is why I ask that the next person who evaluates a post have a little empathy and think about the resources that the author used, their real possibilities, the value that they transmit, and their usefulness, and opportunity. This will make the entire #HIVE ecosystem a healthier and [equitable](https://fundacionadecco.org/azimut/diferencias-entre-equidad-igualdad-y-justicia-social/)[^2] place.
