Desde niño siempre le gustó dibujar, dejaba volar sus ideas sobre el papel y sorprendía con dibujos que con un poco más de técnica formarían parte de cualquier exposición de arte. Tuvo la oportunidad de ir a la escuela de artes, pero en la provincia de Matanzas  esta escuela es de régimen becado y a su mamá le pareció que con solo 7 años era muy pequeño para ese tipo de separación familiar, más en tiempos tan difíciles como la mitad de los 90' en #Cuba.

He had the opportunity to go to the art school, but in the province of Matanzas this school is a scholarship system and it seemed to his mother that at only 7 years old he was too young for that type of family separation, especially in times as difficult as the #Cuba mid-'90s.

Pronto sus aficciones cambiarían, y el lápiz se cambió por cuchillas y el papel por madera, fueron tiempos donde tallar figuras de madera y calaveras pequeñas se hacían para los amigos del barrio, que hasta se canjeaban por canicas para jugar.  Así las imágenes tomaban forma y textura, la vieja chaveta de cortar tábaco daba los remates más sorprendentes. Pero una vez más, el impulso no llegó muy lejos, y la cotidianidad  volvió a cambiar rumbos.

Los tumbos fueron diversos, llegó hasta la universidad en la cerrera de Cultura Física, pero las improntas de la vida  lo llevaron en otras direcciones. Los atractivos de vivir cerca de la hermosa playa de #Varadero, donde los servicios turísticos ofrecen posibilidades de empleo con remuneraciones y posibilidades superiores a las que se le ofrece a un profesional graduado universitario, tuvieron un gran peso. Así de custodio a Jefe de Seguridad, primero en el hotel Sun Beach, antiguo BellaMar para los nativos del área, luego al hotel StarFish. 

Llegó la época de la pandemia del #Covid19 y las labores cambiaron, y poniendo en práctica las tradiciones familiares el arte fue a parar a la gastronomía. Una vez más los tropiezos de mantener un negocio, donde los insumos cada vez más escasean, más caros, con precios de venta que fluctúan con una tendencia al aumento lejos de soportable, tuvo lugar, hubo que poner a funcionar la imaginación.

The attractions of living near the beautiful beach of #Varadero, where tourist services offer employment opportunities with remuneration and possibilities higher than those offered to a professional university graduate, had great weight. So from custodian to Head of Security, first at the Sun Beach hotel, the former BellaMar for the area's natives, then at the StarFish hotel.
>The time of the #Covid19 pandemic arrived and the work changed, and putting family traditions into practice, art ended up in gastronomy. Once again the stumbling blocks of maintaining a business, where supplies are increasingly scarce, more expensive, with sales prices that fluctuate with a tendency to increase far from bearable, took place, he had to put his imagination to work.

Una vez más el arte fue la solución, los lápices se sustituyeron por agujas entintadas y el papel por la piel de quiénes desean mostrar el arte en sí mismos, con el compromiso de llevarlos por siempre. Le mostramos sus últimos trabajos:
