Yesterday was the last day of the first half of the year which has a tendency of becoming the weirdest time of our lives.

It wasn't a hard time for me and my family personally. Luckily we live in an area where we were able to be outside. The spring was beautiful and we took every opportunity to be together and outdoors.

On the other hand, the time is scary. We've learned how easily are we as a society controlled and ordered to behave and obey whatever the powers above us see fit.

This was by far the most dreadful lesson of the last months.

The *normal* life as we know it is being irrevocably changed right before our eyes.

What is even more bizarre, we are supposed to gladly obey because *it is good for us.* Even more, we are excluded by our own society if we don't do as told.

What can we do about it?

You might say that it is right so. That I am irresponsible and should obey because it is a proper thing to do.

I have my own opinion. I believe that this is just an exercise in obedience. Stranger things will follow, I am afraid.

Again, what can we do?

I believe that the energy for the change is growing and accumulating. In this aspect the situation is good. It helps accelerare the growth of the critical mass needed to transform the world into a better place. Into a society without extortion and oppression. Into the place of love and respect and understanding and helping each other.

Am I an optimist?

Of course I am. This is a needed state of mind as I see it.
