Even a stump can mean the whole world to these fungi
An interesting stump with a nice collection of tree fungi. Two variations of them.

Since I am no expert in tree fungi I can't tell you the names, sorry.

We met during our midday doggy walk in the forest. It was a long walk to stretch my sore back.

I would love to show one of them, I stupbled upon this summer... I had only 150mm tele with me, not enaf wide angle, so I could not take a pic of that stunning sight!...

haha, no, thats impossible for me to get to that place again, and even if I could, hard to find that certain spot in a big forest. but I had the pics - of certain wood 'chaga' mushrooms that were sitting on that stump. (I had 150mm lens with me) - but the capture is not the same, as if I would photo all of the stump. needed more wide-lens and was missing them on the spot, hehe
