Terracore - upgrading basic stats, what next?

I am a really tame [Terracore ](https://terracoregame.com?ref=ervin-lemark)player. Do the battles, collect $SCRAP, and that's it. Now, it looks like I will need to do something more to get rid of these pesky red signs. Oh well ...

In fact, I wanted to buy some crates yet the value of $SCRAP kept falling and ... I didn't buy any.

Now, I'll do the round of upgrades, all over the place. Will anything change?

The stats, before I start, are:

After some clicking, level 17 on all three basic stats and over 4K of experience, three stars :)

Did rank improve much? It did, from 900 something to 503. Good.
